Thursday, April 18th

A Blueberry Muffin from  Le Pain Quotidien for breakfast (Not as great as their Carrot Muffin)...
Moroccan Spinach, Chana Masala, Lentil Dal and Eggplant from WF's Global Cuisine Bar for lunch...
Boca Chikn Patties and Mac & Cheese from Roots for dinner....
Zen Chocolate Almond Pudding for dessert. (Slid onto a plate like a can of Cranberry Sauce at Thanksgiving).
No PF Changs tomorrow. My Mother redeemed her free appetizer coupon without me.

Oh no, she redeemed without you?! That is some sad business.

The muffin looks good but a little skimpy on the blueberries. It has like 3 more than the WFs muffin. That lunch looks really great! That mac and cheese looks seriously delicious every time. THe chocolate almond pudding sounds great! One of my favorite flavor combos :)

I agree about the muffin- they skimped on the blueberries!

I've never had that pudding. How was it?

That kind of pudding is not something that's part of Australian food culture, so I never tried it until I was on student exchange in the US. But I remember liking the Zensoy one with Reese's Puffs stirred in.

Our hot bar tonight left something to be desired - I need to drive to the not-so-close location and switch up my hot bar consumption!

As you pointed out, my guessing abilities have waned, nonetheless I say it'll be Italian. Or Mexican. Or CPK. Or Cheesecake Factory. If it's not one of those, I'm officially taking a hiatus. ;)

The LPQ carrot muffin is hard to beat- i love that its so full of stuff! Nice lunch selection, i'm impressed they didnt merge together in a squishy mess like mine always seem to. The eggplant and dal sounds like a great pairing.
I saw that new pudding the other day and regret not buying it now....
You would need at least a week and some serious cash to eat your way thru the best of nyc- lulu's apothecary (awesome vegan ice cream), street nut vendors, quintessence, hangawi (fancy vegan korean!!) and more....
I speculate that you take mom to the global burrito place. Or where your latest groupon is from.

Are you going to NYC?!

I did think that was cranberry sauce until I read it again.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, I was pretty shocked that Mom changed lunch plans on me, but I was also relieved. I feel the need to take a break from PF Changs. My luck with Blueberry Muffins has always been dismal.

Molly, the Blueberries were teeny tiny in my Muffin. Don't know what the problem is there. If you need Pudding, this brand will fulfill your need.

Hannah, Aussies aren't into Pudding? That is a surprise.

Ingrid, great job! Cheesecake Factory FTW!!!! No hiatus for now for you.

Unknown, Apothecary is on my radar, but I need to hit Candle Cafe first and foremost. My Mother would never be able to make up her mind at the Burrito place. Whatever she would order would be the wrong thing.

Jenny, ha! I would love to go to NYC, but no immediate plans. When I do, I cannot waste a meal...

"Pudding" is different to us. It generally means steamed pudding, like golden syrup pudding... not this weird gloopy thing.
