Thursday, June 11th

Two repeats from yesterday: a toasted genuine NYC Cinnamon Raisin Bagel for breakfast. This time with Black Current Preserves as well as Cream Cheese. Heavenly!
Another bowl of Spanish Chickpea Soup for lunch (the heat hadn't yet permeated the house)...
Mr. SVegetarian brought home grub for dinner that didn't make me queasy: Cashew Tofu from Aiyara Thai...
an ancient Zen Almond Milk Chocolate Pudding for dessert...
One last day at home coming up. Bye for now.

Fancy jam there! Apparently the jams are made from a fresh currant fruit that we don't even have here in the US, and dried currants we find here in stores are not that same fruit but just a tiny dried grape.
It was so hot here today that your soup is making me sweaty. Funny how every asian restaurant hasa version of cashew tofu-what makes it thai and not the chinese version?

Yes, oil and vinegar on the plate of leaves. It was just a random generic place, there must be better options somewhere.... I don't slushie the amazing grass because my blender makes an unholy racket with ice and its late enough my neighbors might hate me for that. Frozen grapes for dessert tonight though :)

Looks like another stellar food day! The cashew tofu looks amazing, and I love chocolate pudding.

Oooh yes!!! What a great day of eats. Cinnamon raisin bagels are so good, I've been digging them lately too. The soup looks really fantastic. I can't fathom actually eating soup right now but I'm vicariously enjoying it through you! The cashew tofu looks so fantastic! Definitely some really great meals happening at your house. Can't go wrong capping off the day with chocolate. After the week I'm having I see some Justin's cups and wine happening over the weekend, ha!

Hey Now!!!!!

Unknown, the Black Currant Jam was really fantastic. Gotta eat more of that. I think Thai food is less 'goopy' than Chinese. Although the only Chinese food I eat is from PF Changs, I never had Cashew Tofu from a 'real' Chinese restaurant. You are such a considerate neighbor to forego your Slushy and quietly munch on Grapes. I hope they appreciate it.

VP, everyone loves Chocolate Pudding. It is universal.

Sarah, you are gonna eat Chocolate and drink wine? i dont believe it. You're all talk.
