What A Fuckin Nightmare Day

Some how I thought it would be a solution to everything to move to St. Thomas. So far, not so much. Anyway, have fun thinking of a new name for my blog for however long I last here...
St. Thomas Vegan? VI Vegan? Royally fucked up vegan? lemme know. Bye for now.

WHAT?!?!?! Holy shit!!!! Never in a million years would I have guessed!! What made you decide to go there? Are you working remotely? Talk about a change!! I know the trip was probably tough with your crew but you are there and talk about gorgeous!!! I kind of wish I could pack my shit and move to the islands. I really can't wait to read about life there as you settle in. I'll brainstorm blog names and report back if I think of anything :)

How did you get your whole crew there? All the fur family?

Vegan in the VI? I liked island vegan but it's taken and not being used (which annoys the hell out if me).

Oh and I hope the booze helps and tomorrow is a better day!

HolyCRAPwhat?!?!?!!!!
Amazing!!! It looks like you arrived in one piece and secured a boozy beverage so you have the important stuff taken care of.
And yeah, moving just is an epic nightmare. It gets better from here.
You will have to think of it as an exciting adventure :) worry about renaming the blog after the dust has settled a bit

So freakin' amazing!!! Once the shock has passed, you'll settle right in. I agree Trockwood, and pick a name after you've had a moment to breathe! I am going to want a full recap of how this day happened, and how the animals are adjusting to their new lives!! Just remember panic is normal, and if you really want to move back after some time has passed - that's okay too!

I'm almost speechless with shock! St. Thomas, that's amazing! How did the fur babies do on the trip? I'm leaving tomorrow, so I will be having a lot of stress as well, but it's nice you all arrived in one piece. I can't wait to hear more! Congratulations, and I really hope things calm down!

Hey Now!!!!!

Look at all these comments! Good thing DishTV never called back to set us up with television down here...

Sarah, I chose St. Thomas because I wanted to live somewhere beautiful but still had to take into consideration all that is necessary to maintain my critters. I took off this week, but intend to work remotely starting on Monday.

Sebastian, I am glad you asked! all those pics I took yesterday werent for nuthin!

Sarah, 'Vegan In The VI' it is!

Sarah, guzzling lots of Painkillers (a local rum drink) to help me cope.

Unknown, yep. What have i done? Seriously: what have I done? God only knows. Anyway, the drink is a Pusser's Painkiller, like a non-frozen Pina Colada. Not the type of thing they imbibe in Manhattan.

ingrid, full recap posted. Still on an emotional rollercoaster, so if I move back to Virginia, I appreciate your understanding,

VP, you have been in my thoughts. It is extremely traumatic to move with animals. Wish you had more support along the way.

FF, just cuz I am off the continental United States doesnt mean I am not east of the Mississippi. Just means you no longer have to worry about me coming to your place of work to steal your Ice Cream.

Sara, I was super jelly when you moved to Austin. I remember it well.

Abby, appreciate it. I need all the love and luck i can get.
