Saturday, June 6th

Just ran a ton of errands this morning instead of breakfast out. Common Market Eggless Egg Salad awaited when I got home...
Tofurky Kielbasa with Mustard and TJ's Country Potatoes for dinner...
very tasty. Just dump a portion in a heated skillet and wait a few minutes. Better than anything I could make...
An Out Of The Bubble Bakery Chocolate Chip Cookie for dessert...
TFK and Mosaic District Farmers Market tomorrow. Bye for now.

Those potatoes do look impressive! I am high maintenance and hate frozen green beans though...(love the fresh ones though).
Nice to have a source of good choco chip cookies. Hope the farmers market has more great tomatoes for you!

I made that charred broccoli salad! Its freaking delicious.
Today was a maintee at NYC ballet at lincoln center (midsummer's night dream) with friends followed by a few hours loitering in the sunshine drinking lambrusco....

I spent most of the day in yard, weeding (again - thanks to all of this rain!), and pulling out dead bushes. Therefore, I only made it to two meals - just like you! Funny how weekends act like a time vacuum.

I've seen those potatoes, and good to know they are delicious. Can't wait to see the farmer's market!!!

Hey Now!!!!!

FF, somehow i just knew that the Country Potates would look like the picture on the bag. Chocolate Chip Cookies are the gold standard. Ord so i've heard.

Unknown, the TJ's Green Beans werent noticeably pre-frozen tasting, but yes, fresh is always better. I didnt buy any Tomatoes. Just was hot and irritated by the crowds and wanted to get away. Didnt realize you were such a fan of the ballet. If i access to all the culture in Manhattan, I would probably put my money and energy towards plays. Sure wish I could see "Fish In The Dark" or the new Jim Parson's play. Lambrusco in the sunshine sounds very relaxing. So does Sangria come to think of it.

Ingrid, getting a later start on Saturday and Sunday also cuts into meal times. I didnt buy any fruits or veggies today, just Soup.

VP, I only bought more Soup at the Farmers Market. Nothing says "it is almost summer" like Soup.
