Monday, June 1st

It was all about taste today, starting with TJ's Cornflakes with Hemp Milk...
Commom Market Eggless Egg Salad on Olive Bread for lunch...
Chickenless Tenders with Heinz-57 and Common Market Cole Slaw for dinner...
So great how Common Market uses Vegenaisse in their prepared cold salads...
More Salted Caramel Cluster Cashew Milk Ice Cream for dessert...
Coming up tomorrow: the Tomato I bought at the Farmers Market yesterday. Bye for now.

Corn flakes are a solid choice. I wish I could let myself be okay with buying cereal. maybe next TJ trip.
Where is the Olive bread from??
Gorgeous shot of the ice cream. my parents are definitely not vegan but they make welcoming meals for me for the holidays. They are creatures of habit.

I had too many damned cornflakes as a kid to appreciate them anymore....where is the other half of the pickle?? Did you just munch it while making the sandwich? (I totally do that!) i wish eggless salad was a "thing" here. That's something green symphony doesn't have! I'm totally mentioning that to the owner next time i'm there.... (Haha, aka wednesday)
Good thing you found a nice cole slaw in time for summer, there are too many yucky versions out there. And i want that ice cream. But not now since it was damned cold today (WTF?!), and of course they fixed our AC so that was nice timing.

I feel so bad that your pup is scared of thunderstorms! That's really tough since its not something you can do much about...

Every day should be about taste! Your corn flakes looks so delicious, but every time I have them - I am left dissatisfied. Hmmm...

I agree with Maud - do reveal the source of the olive bread! Yum!

Yum, what a great day! I've been enjoying avocado toast lately which I imagine is how you feel about your egg salad toast. I should pair it with a pickle. WHich means I have to get pickles, ha!

That ice cream looks incredible! It is definitely the season for ice cream and I haven't seen that flavor around but I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for it. Or maybe make my own version, with bananas and dates ;)

Hey Now!!!!!

FF, TJ's cereal wont give you sticker shock. The Cornflakes are only $3 for a huge box and the nutritional stats are very good, The Olive Bread is from the Farmers Market. Your parents certainly kick it into high gear for you for the holidays. Really surprised they are able to come up with so many vegan options when they arent vegan themselves.

Unknown, these Clausen Half Spears are really big. I dont think I could eat two. I do alternate bites of the Pickle with the Sandwich. I am sure you get lots of great Pickles On The Side in NYC. Although I am not a fan of the community bowls they leave out all day. Eggless Egg Salad aint in keeping with your healthy approach to eating, so you best not suggest it to Green Symphony or you will be obligated to order it all the time. I am so glad the heat (and thunder) has died down. We are all exhausted from it.

Ingrid, dissatisfied by Cornflakes?! I am surprised by that, but do hate being dis-satisfied by food.

Sarah, almost getting to be time for one of your posts isnt it? Hope all the rain is washing away the pollen up there.
