TJ's Cornflakes with Almond Milk for breakfast. They're better with Hemp Milk, but oh well...
TJ's Vegan Tiki Masala for lunch...
Loving Hut's Jalapeno Tofu for dinner....
There is no Traders Joes, Loving Hut or Cashew Milk Ice Cream where I am planning to go, that is why I gotta pile it in. Assuming all goes well, my new home is located east of the MissIssippi. Will I make it happen? Bye for now.

Yummy day! Although if where you are moving lacks trader joe's and cashew milk ice cream that's rather brave...! Everywhere civilized has a whole foods nowadays so i'm sure you will figure it out. But yeah, i would likely have an all cashew ice cream diet in the meantime so i was totally sick of it and wouldn't miss it if that makes any kind of sense.
Maybe you're headed to live on the beach?! Like the outer banks or...um... Rhode island? Totally random guessing here. Enjoy the ice cream between taping up boxes.
Ttrockwood
man I can't imagine how much stuff you have stored away in case it got discontinued that you now need to eat!
Use the zine pages to wrap yr dishes and fancy wine glasses in.
Ooooh if you move to North Carolina I'm gonna come visit. WAIT ARE YOU GOING TO BOSTON? ARE YOU BRINGING GUINEA FOWL TO BOSTON? say yes!! now I gotta look up where the mississippi runs...
Here's the thing, Trader Joe's is all over the east coast so that means you are moving to somewhere rural. You spelled Mississippi with a capital MI, which is the postal code for Michigan. Land is pretty cheap near Detriot, after all! ;) But, I'll go with Pennsylvania as my second guess for today.
I totally understand not blogging daily, but I hope you find a schedule/routine that keeps us updated! I would miss you too much if you went down to monthly updates! (May I suggest thrice weekly - I find myself looking forward to the days that I post, but don't have the pressure of creating too much content.) Not to mention, what will you name your blog now that you won't be in the Shenandoah Valley? Or will you... Hmm.
I finally got some cashew milk ice cream, and it is the best vegan ice cream yet. You're right, it's super rich. I chose the salted caramel, and chocolate covered cashews take it over the edge! No Trader Joe's? Living without one is possible, but speaking from experience, it is not fun!! I can't wait to find out where your moving!
Oooh great day of food! I'm with everyone else, definitely intrigued by where you will be!! I like Ingrid's guess of the MI so I'm wondering if that is where you will be? You've narrowed down to 26 states for us and that is far too overwhelming for me to comprehend still. So I'll jump on Ingrid's guess of MI from that clue (?) and offer a second guess of… the Chicago area… just for fun! Although it appears that you may not have a place nailed down yet? That must be incredibly stressful!!
You've certainly intrigued all of us :) I can't wait to find out where you will be!!
Hey Now!!!!!
Unknown, there will be no Whole Foods in my new area, however, Field Roast products were spotted in a grocery store. You are so lucky to live in a great place already -- sure there was that time the local bodega only had vanilla soy milk ice cream, but that was just poor planning on your part. Rhode Island? that sounds pleasant, but nope. I used to want to go to Nantucket very badly but never made it.
FF, Boston? That is where you are going, not me. And no to the entire state of North Carolina. The Guinea Fowl unfortunately arent with us anymore, however, the remaining chickens (and rooster) are coming. Gonna be a fun move.
Ingrid, like i said, I suck at hints. The MI was just a typo, although i have heard positive things about Ann Arbor. I will have a new blog with the name of my new locale so folks visiting can benefit from my soon-to-be accumulated vegan knowledge of the area. I am all generous of spirit dont ya know?
VP, I saw your post on the Cashew Milk Ice Cream. It is so rich, it is not difficult to parse out (unless you may never have it again, then you gotta indulge!). Trader Joes is wonderful. i am truly concerned about Vegan Tiki Masala cravings going unfulfilled.
Sarah, ha! I have a place solidly nailed down. The house is bought. The issue is getting me and everyone else to it. That part is what I will only believe when it happens, Chicago has some vegan options, but I hate wind.
Ohio?
