that is one big pickle there! Ok, maybe just the camera angle but big pickles are amazing..... The eggless salad always looks fabulous of course.
Was the seitan supposed to be sticky? Is that a good thing?? Pasta salad isn't what i crave for dessert but whatever works for you.. Sounds like a good combo.
June is a great time to visit nyc! Not yet nasty hot but warm enough.... We'll all be here with vegan yummies whenever you do come :))

That pickle with your lunch looks so delicious and crunchy! And the pasta salad looks like an amazing dessert!
That pickle is life right there. How funny that everyone is commenting on the pickle! THe seitan looks amazing, I've seen that in my Whole Foods recently, I'll have to pick it up next time I see it! Your savory desserts always make me smile :)
I used the cauliflower from this recipe: http://blissfulbasil.com/2014/07/30/crispy-cauliflower-tacos-with-slaw-avocado-cream/
We used more traditional taco toppings due to a picky dinner guest. I cook everything when I visit, ha!
Pasta salad doesn't count as dessert!
Hey Now!!!!!
Unknown, it was a Clausen Half Pickle. Very good. I guess the Seitan is supposed to be sticky, but it usually doesnt stay in a clump like last night. I put June out there in the ethersphere in hope that it happens.
VP, the Pickle was surprisingly good considering it was just a grocery store Clausens. The Pasta Salad was incredible.
Sarah, that Blissful Basil site is overwhelming. How can you pick one recipe out of so many? The Cauliflower Tacos are more trouble than I can tackle. Did you make the Slaw from scratch as well?
Abby, this Pasta Salad is so creamy, it qualifies as dessert.
