Sunday, May 3rd

Everyone's well wishes reached Molly and she is back to her normal spastic self. Thank you to everyone who thought of her. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming: The 'Andys TLT' may not have been as stacked with Avocado as usual, but TFK more than made up for it with a ton of Kale Salad on the side. About a half hour of chewing...
Gardein Crispy Tenders with Heinz-57 and Common Market's New Delhi Pasta Salad for dinner....
after breakfast this morning, we strolled through the Mosaic District Farmers Market (today was Opening Day) and I was so glad to see that Out Of The Bubble Bakery returned...
their Chocolate Chunk Cookies are the perfect amount of chewy. Highly recommend for any locals...
All stocked up to WFH the next four days so stay tuned for things you have already seen many times before. Bye for now.

That reminds me - I need to see when our markets return. Any time now, I'd guess! Remy loves going, as they always have treats and water bowls.

Nice looking TLT. I thought of you when I picked up a few groceries today - none of the Gardein was on sale, and thought that you'd appreciate me getting back to TJ's for cheaper prices and Orange Morsels. Ha ha!

I WANT TO WORK FROM HOME!! Instead, I have to chaperone 11th graders for two overnight stays in the mountains. *cries*

Awesome looking cookie. I stopped at the Tompkins Sq park farmer's market today; it's way smaller than Union Square and only one or two baked goods vendors - not even sure there is a vegan option beyond bread. What else is in the mosaic District? It sounds pretty...
That kale side sounds delicious. It's been forever since I've made kale salad.

That sandwich always looks good! Part of why i love kale salad is that it isn't something to eat quickly-really makes you stop and focus on the meal and the moment...
Exciting the farmers market is back-especially with such a great vegan bakery! That cookie looks amazing.

There's a small farmers market in my neighborhood but apparently its thursday afternoons and closes before i can get there. I'll just end up at union sq market on weekends once there's destination worthy produce

I am so happy Molly is better! Even with less avocado, the sandwich still looks amazing. I tried the Just Mayo and balsamic with an artichoke. The artichoke was a bit of a bitter one, but the dip made it much better! I can't wait to try it on a better artichoke.

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, chaperoning 11th graders sounds like herding kittens, i.e., why bother? Let them run rampant as they should.

FF, ha! the Mosaic District is a nice name for an upscale residential/lbusiness development. I guess if I loved Fairfax County enough, I would want to live in it.

Unknown, i was completey surprised the Farmers Market was back. There were tons of Tomatoes which was suspicious. I hope to see the Union Square Farmers Market one day, but, like Green Symphony, Esse A Bagel and Wild Orchid...that train may have sailed...

VP, I am so thankful i didnt get a bitter Artichoke this year. So disappointing after waiting an hour for them to steam. My condolences.
