Sunday, May 31st

Got my *ss to TFK this morning and was soon reminded why I like it so much...
TJ's Mandarin Orange Morsels for dinner...
Wegman's PB for dessert...
Seriously non-exciting post today, sorry for that. Cant even say I picked up anything different or unusual for the week ahead. Oh, well. Bye for now.

Thanks for your rec's about Middleburg! I know I'd spend hours looking over menus trying to find places, so you've helped tremendously!

Both meals are favorites, so I think it looks like a delicious day!

Yeah that's a sandwich worth traffic..! The added bell pepper to dinner is a good idea, i always seem to hybrid storebought stuff with added veggies to make myself feel like i "cooked"
Looks like a new jar of PB too! Yum.

We have had some crazy thunder and lightning dumping rain this afternoon/tonight, hopefully that will cool us off a bit. Frozen grapes and cold brew coffee blitzed with almond milk ice cubes here.

Looks like another amazing sandwich! I'm going to Wegman's this morning, will have to pick up some morsels! That sandwich is so loaded, it almost looks like a vegan club!!

TFK loves you too.
Was at my folks' yesterday; the only vegan food they had in the house was PB and bread so I ate that. It's not bad, hope it satisfied. Not sure I'd eat that when there was salted caramel cashew ice cream in the house though.

Ingrid, keep in mind, my recs are based on knowing nothing of your grandmother's health, temperament, interests, etc. You are flying across country to visit, so hopefully, she is patient and good natured.

Unknown, adding Veggies to storebought items is realatively new to me. Dont know why it too me so long to see that it is okay to do. It was a brand new jar of PB;-) I was up all night due to the thunderstorms, Our Jack Russell Terrier was in a panting panic and could find no peace. All these storms are supposed to bring cooler weather. We can only hope.

VP, it is an amazing feat the way TFK puts together that sandwich. It does look like a Club (which are good too).

FF, I thought you had turned your parents vegan? how could they only have PB & Bread?! are they able to feed their Cats or do I have to send them food?
