Monday, May 4th

Trader Joe's Cornflakes with Coconut Milk for breakfast. They get soggy quickly, but are a great value...
Common Market Eggless Egg Salad for lunch. It is reassuring to see  bits of Tofu in it because it really tastes like actual Egg Salad...
Loving Hut Jalapeno Tofu for dinner...
Native Foods Coffee Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert. The Whipped Topping and Fudge Sauce were great, but the Cheesecake itself was oddly rubbery. I think I had this issue with their Cheesecake in the past. Must stick with Vegan Treats for future Cheesecake...
More of the usual WFH grub tomorrow. Bye for now.

Nice monday there! Coconut milk on cereal is a good one. And ever since those brilliant eggless salad seasoning packets were discontinued i have yet to make or find a good version, you're lucky to have common market as a supply.
Sounds like native foods knows the cheesecake is sub-par and tries to distract from that with toppings!

Glad that molly is doing better, hopefully that was a rare off day.
A new urban space market started near work today- aka an easy way to accidentally blow $20/day on lunch and snacks...! It goes all month so i have time to see what is worthy, definitely some yummy vegan options to be had.

Hmm..too bad about the cheesecake. I feel like it's a tough recipe to get right! The Jalapeno Tofu seems to provide a great portion to spread out over the days.

I won't really be chaperoning them too much - it's just the matter of having to be "on" 24 hours a day. No time to yourself or escape! I'll survive, I'm just cranky that it's required of me.

The jalapeno tofu looks so delicious! Minus the rubbery cheesecake(weird) it looks like a great food day! I haven't had cornflakes in 100+ years!

Hey Now!!!!

Unknown, that is a really cool idea for a lot of pop-ups in a contained space, So creative. I forgot the Garment District is near Times Square. In my past forays into NYC, I enjoyed exploring the Jewelry District. Never bought any jewelry though.

Ingrid, perhaps you have reached responsible adulthood since you are considered a trusted chaperone. Deep thoughts...

VP, Cornflakes taste just the same as they did 100 years ago: delicious!
