Friday, May 8th

No breakfast, as I knew I was getting a big Ethiopian order to go for lunch. By the time I ate it, I totally went from starving to stuffed. The carryout was from Enat and I am sad to say it was not as great as last time...
an old dried up LPQ Blueberry Muffin with a little EB for dessert...
to make up for the boring post, a couple doggie pics...
they do appear to be wary of the camera. Feeling exploited perhaps?
TFK tomorrow. Bye for now.

Ooh yes! A friend and I are planning an Ethiopian dinner date; I'm excited. Do you just get a vegetarian selection? Or what do you usually order? It all looks great in any case.
I went to LPQ for the first time in a long time (probably since you started that short lived matcha muffin craze) this morning and also had a blueberry muffin! It was very good. And fresh.

Too bad it wasn't as good as your previous meal from them, looks like a generous sized injera and a great assortment of dishes...
That poor muffin has definitely seen better days! I need to stop by for their gazpacho soon.
Love the pup pics!

Too bad about your Ethiopian meal. It looks amazing. Hopefully they were just having an off day. I love the puppy pics!

That is such a shame that the Ethiopian meal wasn't up to par because it does look pretty incredible. I still need to get to LPQ to try a muffin, I'm just entirely too lazy and have zero desire to get into the city.

Such cute puppy pics!!! I love seeing their sweet faces :)

Hey Now!!!!

FF, the Vegetarian Sampler is usually best to order in an Ethiopian restaurant. i also enjoy Miser Wot (Spicy Lentils). My LPQ Muffin had probably been in the freezer since last summer. So dry. Glad you got a fresh one.

Unknown, I miss the LPQ Gazpacho as well. Maybe i will pop in tomorrow and see what is up there.

VP, it sort of works out that the Ethiopian grub wasnt up to snuff. Now I wont be longing for it like I was.

Sarah, it is not worth driving into the city for a Muffin. But there is a ton of other stuff worth going for, that's for sure.
