Tuesday, May 13th

TJ's Organic Strawberries at $3.79/pound for breakfast. Didn't eat quite a pound since a few had to be discarded due to over ripeness....
Dawson's Market Eggless Egg Salad for lunch....
Viana Chickin Nuggets for dinner...
These weren't so great. After I eat the rest of the package, I won't be buying them again...

Carob Almond Butter Cup $1.09 for dessert. Also not a Cleo Cup...
Bye for now.

Well it's probably good that you don't love everything you buy otherwise how would you ever know what to buy exactly.

Do you not have any TJ chickn tenders left in the freezer?
Not a Cleo cup, not quite a Justins either.

Bummer about the chick'n nuggets. I feel like faux chick'n products are definitely hit or miss and the only real hit I've come across so far is Gardein (and the TJs version of Gardein). The oven fries look really great and definitely like they would save the meal.

The strawberries look fresh and beautiful and the Cleo Cups are clearly a lot to live up to :)

I agree with Maud - Justin's cups are the cat's meow. And I agree with Sarah: stick with Gardein and TJs version. But why am I telling you that; I'm sure you already know. ;)

Love the berry breakfasts! I had a box of blackberries for breakfast today, good stuff. I bet the rye eggless salad combo is great together. Hmm, maybe you can find a kid who wants some chickenless nuggets...? ("Kids like it!") Your fries never cease to impress me- hopefully that was the last of your carob stash, I've never liked the stuff....

TJ's has chicken tenders? I'm always the last to know. I can't support carob; I worked in an ice cream shop as a kid and I can't separate the sanctimony of the frozen yogurt customers ordering carob chips over chocolate.

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, now you really got me confused. Not only do I not know what to buy next, I don't even know how to respond to your comment. Good thing I wont be going to the store again till Saturday.

FF, I have a freezer packed with faux meats of all kind, but when I see a new faux meat on the market that isn't outrageously overpriced, I gotta try it. For someone who supposedly hates Peanut Butter, you sure seem to like those Justins Cups a whole lot.

Sarah, Gardein is definitely the best, but I am still compelled to stock up on the Boca and Morningstar stuff when it is on sale.

Ingrid, Justins Cups might be the cat's meow, but Cleo Cups are the bee's knees.

Unknown, were they the really humongous Blackberries? That "Kid's Like It!" line on the Nuggets really got me excited. I don't know what kids these are. Not a good way to encourage kids to be vegan. I think that was the last of my Carob stash.

Abby, yes, TJ's has the Gardein Chicken Nuggets at a good price. How unusual that the yogurt shop even offered Carob Chips. Wonder why they did that when most Dark Chocolate Chips are vegan.
