I'm aware there is something weird about the way I try to evenly distribute the Raisins on my Oatmeal...
If all this looks familiar, it's because it's the same breakfast, lunch and dinner as Tuesday, except with Slaw instead of Potato Salad...
My Dawson's Market Mac & Cheese Muffin collapsed before I could get a good pic...
Olive Bruschetta on LPQ Bread for dessert...
Lunch with Mom tomorrow. Bye for now.

I like the care that you put into placing the raisins ;) I don't have patience for that... I wish I did because it would make my pictures a lot better. The sandwich looks just as great this time around and a fallen mac n cheese muffin is still a good mac n cheese muffin. Return of the savory dessert! I'll let the olives slide since you had a pickle at lunch ;)
The slaw looks great! I really like coleslaw and would probably prefer that to the potato salad.
Did you make it or buy it? I like the sprinkled poppyseeds. There's an Urban Vegan coleslaw recipe in one of her books that uses vinegar instead of mayo and is spiced with caraway seeds. It's really nice.
They've already said what I'd say, so let me say this: I keep coming back to Italian for lunch with Mom. Hopefully your subconscious will read this message before lunchtime...
Even raisin distribution is important! I totally understand, yet still want some brown sugar and milk in there.
The coleslaw looks like it has some great texture, dunno if i have ever seen poppyseeds in coleslaw before though. The olive tapenade dessert looks wonderful! And i'm sure that was some nice and chewy LPQ bread there.
I think my parents bring me treats because i organize, plan, and deal with their questions for months before they arrive and then proceed to chaperone them around the city the entire time they're here- so its like a hostess gift ;)
Hope mom lunching is drama free (or at least less) this week

Hey Now!!!!
Sarah, in my defense, the Olive Bruschetta lasts in the fridge indefinitely. So, basically, it was there...
FF, my bad. I should have noted that the Cole Slaw was from Dawson's Market. I'll post that when I eat the rest of it. I'm so lame.
Ingrid, oh dear. Sadly, no....
Unknown, I don't think those are Poppy Seeds in the Cole Slaw. I photographed the ingredient list, so when I eat the rest, we'll both see what was involved. The LPQ bread was so chewy, I should have just eaten it 'au naturelle'. I can't wait to hear what you do to entertain your parents. Do they stay in your apartment? Any Broadway or tv shows? Do you bring them up to your office for show & tell?
