Thursday, May 29th

So I lied a little, there were a few repeats today...
This Whole Food's Artichoke made up for the nasty Trader Joe's Artichokes from a few weeks ago....
Gardein Beefless Burgers with Pasta Salad for dinner...
An LPQ Apple Cannelle for dessert. So great heated up, I pity those who choose to pass by the bakery and not partake of their many delightful offerings...
Lunch with Mom tomorrow. Bye for now.

I'm thinking that I would like Gardein burgers more than I like the Boca burgers. I know you like both, but which ranks higher?

Based on last week's guess, I should say Mexican for lunch. But if I were you, I'd choose something cold (because it's so hot right now!), and go with a sandwich or salad...

I pay attention!! But my memory only lasts 15 minutes.
I went into LPQ today to see if the matcha muffin was actually there but still not. I bought cheap chocolate instead. I'm sure the cannelle is fine.

Glad the hole in the wallet foods people didn't sell you a crap artichoke! I'm still impressed with people who fuss with trimming the leaves....
Those burger toppings look just as fabulous today, dedinately ups the frozen patty appeal tenfold.

What a wonky looking cannelle! I'm sure it was just as tasty short and squat but the usual shape is taller and slender with fluted edges.... Vegans deserve pretty cannelle too!!

I swear I have never seen these good things at Manhattan LPQs.

I don't know in what universe that counts as a cannelle, but hey, appearances aren't everything.

That is an exceptionally great schmear you have on that bagel today. Glad the Whole Foods artichoke was much more satisfying and that you actually enjoyed it. The cannelle sounds yummy, LPQ has the greatest treats.

I won't venture a guess on today's lunch but since Ingrid is so good at it I'll piggyback on her guess of a Mexican lunch and I'll add to it that I hope you had a tasty, refreshing margarita.

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, the Gardein burgers are way better than the Boca, but you gotta pay an extra $2 for the pleasure. Mexican has to come up in the next few weeks, but alas, today was Italian...

FF, 'Cheap Chocolate'? What the heck is that?

Unknown, I had to get the taste of those TJ's Artichokes out of my mouth somehow. I am pretty proud of my burger toppings, it's not often I have an Onion on hand for garnishes. So the LPQ Cannelles aren't as they should be? There isn't much on the internet about them.

Abby, look closer! The LPQ display case is 10% vegan!

Hannah, my only Cannelle experiences have been with LPQ. You, like Unknown, apparently have had more exposure to the Cannelle. I feel so pastry challenged!

Sarah, and you were the one that guessed Italian a few weeks ago. Have some faith in yourself, Missy!
