Thursday, May 22nd

This Wegmans Pumpernickel Bagel with TJ's Cream Cheese was pretty great, but I still would've preferred to have had one professionally made for me rather than making my own...
Spirulina Smoothie for lunch. It was the usual Hemp Milk, Hemp Protein Powder, Banana, Dates & Peanut Butter...with lots of Spirulina...
Gardein Turky Cutlets with Blessed Mama's Sauteed Dino Kale with Criminis and Tomatoes for dinner...
Mocha Fudge with Ahlaska Chocolate Syrup for dessert. What I really wanted was the Chocolate Syrup, and I just used the Ice Cream as a vehicle.
Lunch with Mom tomorrow. Bye for now.

Mexican for lunch with Mom tomorrow.

Serious applause on the lunch smoothie. Sounds like a lot of greatness in there, minus the spirulina. I need more time to make friends with it.

The only thing better than a bagel with vegan cream cheese is a bagel with vegan cream cheese that someone else made for you. Yours looks pretty great though!

A lunch smoothie, I like it! It's such a pretty color. Spirulina turns food/beverages such a beautiful color but I'm with Ingrid, I'm still not a huge fan of the flavor. The greens look gorgeous again and hooray for ice cream season!

A nice looking bagel. Other people are definitely better at schmearing than I am, but you do a decent job.
You are braver than I am with the spirulina. I make sure there's a ton of other stuff in the smoothie to mask the taste, and even then I only do about a tsp. or so.

Your bagel looks totally professional! But yeah, i actually rarely make one at home....
That's a super green smoothie! I haven't tried spirulina in my own smoothies but didn't notice it in ones i have bought or foods with it. I use Amazing Grass greens mix, its a million greens and such powdered. Perfect for smoothies and juices.
Your dinner veggies look so good!

Fyi Artisana makes raw pecan butter, but its $$! $12 or so for 8 oz....

If you pour the chocolate syrup into a coffee mug and syrup, no one will ever know.

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, oh no! You have been doing so well lately. Although, Mexican will be coming up within the next month or so (Groupon expiration date approaching). Wonder why you don't like Spirulina? It's just Algae.

Sarah, have you been back to Bagel Boss? Gotta show support for those kinds on places so they'll expand and open one down here.

FF, who knew everyone had a problem with Spirulina?! It's one of life's simplest nutrients. Most basic life forms ingest it.

Unknown, it's been years of practice working on my schmear, as you well know. If I ever finish my canister of Hemp Protein Powder (its best buy date was 2010), I'll upgrade. Thanks for the reminder about Artisana, now I do recall seeing that on the shelves.

Hannah, so I shouldn't guzzle the Chocolate Syrup straight out of the bottle (Aussie Style - you know, since you all aren't fans of utensils).
