Sunday, May 4th

All Common Market grub. All day. Starting with their 'Tofurky Reuben' $6.59...
Ye Olde Kombucha Overflow. We're all familiar with it....
Off their $7.99/pound Hot Bar: 'Baked Polenta & Spicy Vegan Cream Sauce' for lunch....
Tasted like gourmet pizza. They did a good job on it...
A 'Big Salad With Lots Of Stuff In It' for dinner....
I put too much of this Dressing on this and ruined it. I am starting to think I might not be a Tahini fan after all....
Carob Peanut Butter Cup $1.09 for dessert. It was no Cleo Cup...
Bye for now.

I would eat this entire day. It looks incredible! Both the reuben and the baked polenta look divine. I think tahini in dressing is a difficult thing to calibrate. Carob will never take the place of dark chocolate...

Definitely a great day! The baked polenta sounds phenomenal. I would love to know how to make that so I can try it. Yum. Beautiful salad, too bad about the dressing though. I know what you mean, a lot of tahini can be a little bitter to me. I'm with Ingrid, carob will always take the silver to dark chocolate.

Haha no, I's feel bad subjecting you to my family ;) Just kidding, my family is awesome... sometimes :D

But I guess you sometimes have to eat the Carob Cup so you can continue to appreciate the Cleo Cup in all its magnificent glory.

Eeew that kombucha overflow looks worse than I remember, but it's been a while.
I really like polenta, but never make it! It can be incredible.
Salad dressings can be totally make or break- it's frustrating. But tahini is so good... I can't imagine it ruining anything.
I agree with Ingrid - carob is NOT chocolate, but I do like it. Just not compared to something like a Cleo cup. Also down with Ingrid's Air B&B idea... my roommate loves having total strangers in the apartment.

Hey Now!!!!!!

Ingrid, Carob probably shouldn't be thought of as a Chocolate substitute. Although, it is great in Smoothies.

Sarah, Ingrid is really coming up with interesting stuff lately. Your family sounds like mine.

Hannah, plus you have to support the company making the Carob Cup and also keep checking in occasionally to make sure they're still not as good as Cleo Cups.

FF, I thought you liked chewy drinks. I've given up trying to make Polenta as well. I'm telling you, Tahini ruined my Salad, dammit! Will we love your roommate? Can we just stay with Haxan at G's?
