Saturday, May 3rd

Gearing up for Apple Blossom, an Iced Cold Sapporo at Mr. Noodle & Rice. Yes, I need alcohol to cope with going to a parade...
There's been a  recent change in ownership at Mr. Noodle and Rice and the food is better for it....
Love their BiBimBob with Tofu....
A few of my many parade pics...Sean Astin's daughter, Ali, was Queen....
Sean & Catherine were the reason I attended the festival....
but they went by way too fast and Sean was turning away when they went by me. Basically, I am bummed I did not get a good look...
Other highlights included K-9 Officer Kota who is recovering after being injured in the line of duty. He got lots of well-deserved cheers...

and JR Martinez, who was good at getting the crowd revved up....
Dinner was a Randy Radish 'Tuna' Wrap $8 (made with Tempeh) and leftover Fries from last night...
Bye for now.

I wish I understood what all the excitement was about but I do like a dog on a float.
The fries look good, as does the iced cold beerrrr.
Bye for now.

I would have had to imbibe way more alcohol for me to not freak out at the festival, ha! Looks like you got some cool pics, especially of the heroic pup. I wish I liked beer because I feel like it must be nice to have a cold beer on a hot day. Lunch looks delicious as do those fries!

Haha, I read Ingrid's comment from yesterday, that would be so fun! It would be more fun if I had my own fur child and abode... damn NY prices.

According to the link, it's all about pink and green. Did you wear some? ;) How fun to have celebrities at your hometown parade! It would have been better if Sean was shirtless.

The BiBimBop looks fantastic! I've never had such a dish, but I bet I'd like it.

P.S. Well at least we can dream about our own inter-web Airbnb! Ha!

Hey Now!!!!

FF, there were a few other dogs on floats, but since Kota was recovering from an injury, I just posted his pic. Bye for now.

Sarah, there is nothing better than a FREEZING COLD Beer with Pizza, Indian Food, Asian Food and/or after yard work. You don't think your family would want your blog buddies coming to stay for a week while you're gone?

Ingrid, I did not wear pink and green. I wish I had. I will say, Sean and Catherine looked just like they did on tv. I spotted them the second they came round the corner about a quarter mile away. Your airBnB idea is excellent.
