Saturday, May 10th

Sorry for the less than stellar post yesterday. My laptop battery has been 're-seated', and I'm back in business!
Following my favorite breakfast, it was time to hit up The Apple Store. Amidst the chaos, Mr. SVegetarian and I just sat and focused on this kid in his stroller who wouldn't wake up for nothin. Thanks, Kid, for keeping us centered...
Boca Burgers and Oven Fries for dinner...
Bye for now.

Haha that kid is awesome! Just chillin at the apple store! I'm so glad that they were able to solved the problem. WHen my laptop bit it the battery was my problem too... except I needed to buy a new one. Glad it's fixed and it was free!

Beautiful tofu scramble and even more beautiful avocado. I feel like I need some avocado toast in my life now. Perfect picnic/bbq like dinner for this toasty day.

Thanks for keeping us updated on yr living-ness yesterday, and glad it all worked out.
my computer is so old it doesn't hold a charge; it has to be plugged in all the time. most of my work is backed up but I'm hoping for the best. You know, I've got money to spend on...cabbage chips.
Nice creepin on that kid, haha!

Perfect avocado makes any scramble better!

P.S. I'm happy to see that your hint for lunch with Mom helped me "guess" correctly. ;)

That avocado looks fake! What an amazing flawless green it is. At least you were well fed before dealing with the apple store- too funny that the kid was totally passed out there. I actually can't sleep when its *too quiet* now thanks to so many years apartment living.

Glad the techno issue was dealt with and free, its rarely so easy.

Hey Now!!!!!

Sarah, I always know one of the few things I eat that you approve of is Avocado.

FF, good thing you're spending all your hard-earned $$ on zines and cabbage chips and not wasting it on a new computer or anything frivolous like that. Yeah, that kid will never know how much he helped two people cope with being in the Apple Store.

Ingrid, you must come visit Grandma again so there are more restaurant possibilities for us to match on.

Unknown, LPQ always does Avocado right. That's why I don't mind paying extra for it. As long as you don't hear gun shots or someone banging on your door, I can see where city noise would be interesting. I did luck out with not having to buy a new battery or laptop. Was not in the mood to start from scratch with a new machine.
