Tuesday, May 27th

Leftover half of a Little Grill Blueberry Buckwheat Pancake with Field Roast Apple Maple Breakfast Sausage and TJ's Maple Syrup for breakfast. Highly recommend the Field Roast Sausage, it was all I could do to not heat up the rest of the links and scarf them all down...
A Bowl Of Good Cincinnati Chili for lunch. More Beans in the bottom half of the quart than the top half...

Gardein Beefless Burgers with Pasta Salad (made yesterday with Vegenaisse, Mustard, Celery, Onion, Carrots, S&P) for dinner...
A few Uncle Eddie's Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies that have seen better days for dessert....
Bye for now.

Breakfast looks really great, and you showed great restraint by not eating the rest of the sausage ;) The chili looks really good too but it was so hot today! Although I've heard that eating hot meals actually cools you down in hot weather? Your pasta salad looks great and the crumbly cookies would be extra yummy on ice cream ;)

You know I'm on the side of scarfing.

I'm really hungry right now and everything looks very delicious. Have heard good things about those links - how many are in a package?
The beany half of the chili looks better than the other.
Nice summer dinner too.

I'm surprised there was any pancake leftover! Those bfast sausages are almost dainty.
I agree with FF it was too damned hot for soup but it does look nice and chunky. Just needs some tofutti sour cream...
Dinner is so colorful! Love the pile of toppings there.

You have such a great memory- mom and dad arrive in about a week. They have requested weather that is not in the high 80s. Always tricky since they are omnis and not at all even a little interested in any of the fab veg restaurants here.....

How many Mondays are there in a week? (Look at your titles!) :-)

I was all ready to make a snarky comment about leftover pancakes (never heard of such a thing) and then you made me salivate with your Uncle Eddies PBCC cookies: my FAVE! It doesn't matter what they look like; they taste the best!

Hey Now!!!!!

Sarah, please tell me you've at least tried Chili by now. The remaining Cookie Crumbs are destined for Ice Cream, difficult to eat them any other way.

Hannah, we don't all have your metabolism, so scarfing isn't an option;-(

FF, I'm guessing there are about ten little links in the package, but I know you'll never buy them cuz you don't buy faux meat.

Unknown, it is definitely too hot for Soup, but I have to show my support. I do remember a lot of stuff (a lot of stuff I wish I'd forget) and do pretty well on Jeopardy and Crossword Puzzles. Can't wait to hear what restaurants you select for your parents visit.

Blessed Mama, it felt like a Monday and you know it.

Abby, I intentionally didn't eat all the Pancakes on Saturday just to have leftovers. Uncle Eddie is da man!

What the what!!!! Field Roast makes a breakfast sausage now!! Please tell me where you were able to find it? I've checked Common Market, Wegman's in Frederick and Whole Foods in the Kentlands and no one has it.

Stephanie, I bought the Field Roast Sausages over a month ago and I can't find the receipt. I'm guessing they came from MOM's (My Organic Market) in Fairfax since you've already scoped out the other possible sources.
