WTF Thursday

Bob's Red Mill Quick Cooking Oats with lots of Raisins for breakfast....
Common Market Eggless Egg Salad (on leftover LPQ bread) for lunch...
Skinny Bitch Red Wine 'Beef' Stew for dinner (only one more bowl of this left)...
So Delicious Mocha Fudge for dessert...
The requisite 'dogs in snow' pics. These are to show how high the snow was at 9:30, right after Mr. SVegetarian made a path to the barn with the snow thrower. Teddy loves the snow. She is energized by it...
Molly had to be bribed off the porch with an Organic Raw Cashew...
17"...
Continuing to be home bound tomorrow.

Wow, you guys got a lot of snow too! The pups are so freaking cute, I love these pics so much. They definitely made me smile :)

The oatmeal looks so good, I love putting tons of raisins in my oats too. They add so much sweetness and a great texture. Definitely one of my favorite toppings. Lunch looks great too, the LPQ bread has gone really far. The stew is a perfect dinner to deal with this craptastic weather. You finally had your delicious dessert too. Gotta love the ice cream.

Do you add milk to your oatmeal after the pic?? I just assumed everyone did, but maybe you don't.......

Nice that LPQ gave such generous bread with the to go meal. As long as you have enough olives homebound is ok.
That is a TON of snow!!! The dogs all looks so adorable- especially love the white snow on molly's black fur.

I walked to work during the MTA strike about ten years ago, and as long as the MTA works offices are open. A lot of people who commute to the city either work from home or come in at 10:30 and leave at 4 and pretend like they worked a full day- not that i'm bitter......

Anyways, i made this recipe from chowhound, just added in a box of regular shrooms i chopped with the carrots and such. And i used brown lentils, but whatever, just not red- and i didn't blend it. And i just tossed in the entire bag of spinach.... Really good!

[ Smiles ] Warm oatmeal to combat the coldness of the snow; nice idea.

Holy puppies! That's a lot of snow! If Remy was around that much, he'd be somewhere in the middle of Teddy and Molly; loving it for about two minutes, and then begging to go in.

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, heck yeah we got a lot of snow! What happens to Tyler in these storms? Guess your brother shovels a little area for him to do his business.

Unknown, adding milk to my Oatmeal never crossed my mind. I guess that's how I ate it as a kid with brown sugar, but it's been a few years. LPQ does give a lot of bread. It's good bread, IMO. That's interesting about your commuting co-workers shortened hours. Are they bitter that you don't have to commute? Bad for morale all around. I put the Lentil Soup recipe in the queue .Thanks!

Hannah, wondered why you weren't posting much. Too busy with your real life friend.

Renard, that's exactly why I made the Oatmeal.

Ingrid, hope you checked in with your Grandma. I'm sure she's housebound as well.
