WTF Monday

Raisin Bran with Hemp Milk for breakfast...
Common Market Eggless Egg Salad for lunch...
WF's Sesame Grilled Tofu with leftover Singapore Street Noodles for dinner....
Chocolate Cake with Ganache for dessert...
There is the potential for something different tomorrow, but doubtful.

nice slab of tofu there.
Your success with the cake and ganache make me want to bake but... not enough to actually do it.

It's a true testament to your plating and photography skills that I am enticed by your pictures of food that isn't exactly my favorite. You know how I feel about eggless salad and olives but your pics always look so delicious it makes me want to enjoy it myself! Great looking dinner and cake is always a great way to end the day.

Apparently we're making testaments to your plating and photography skills. So: Shen, your arrangement of the olives is exquisite.

I'm both puzzled and impressed by the tomato slices on the eggless sandwich. I had to pick some nasty winter tomatoes off my salad the other day.
Hope the noodles at dinner had improved with age the way chili is better the next day....
Does Mr make or eat cake too?

I haven't seen Mason in for.ev.er....:/ i hope he's just hibernating. So i accosted a whacko hyper energetic chocolate lab on the street for some cuddles. "Jake" left me with enough fur and slobber to last a little while....

That looks like a really good day of food!! Mmm. The eggless salad sandwich is calling my name. I haven't had something like that in such a long time. :)

It's so much easier to buy cake!

Hey Now!!!!

FF, awwww! My slab of Tofu is no where near as nice as your slab of Blue Sponge. But thanks.

Sarah, how can you like Pickles but not Olives?! Oh, how I wish I didn't like egg salad.

Hannah, I let the Olives arrange themselves. Can't improve on nature.

Unknown, those are Trader Joe's mini Heirloom Tomatoes. I've been pretty pleased with them. Mr. SV is eating some of the cake, not enough though. I've been wondering about Mason. Even though I don't know him, I love him. Jake is a great name for a Chocolate Lab. I believe I love him as well. (I could be falling, as they say).

Amey, it's tough to get good Eggless Egg Salad. This tasted scarily like the real thing. Had to keep checking the label on the container.

Abby, not only is it easier to buy cake, but a person is less insulted when store bought cake doesn't get eaten. That being said, some of the prices being charged for vegan cakes in this area have chafed my *ss.
