WTF Monday

PPK Pumpkin Waffle with TJ's Maple Syrup for breakfast...
A bowl of Le Pain Quotidien Lentil Soup $6.95 for lunch (very refined and elegant)...
Japanese Golden Chop with Oven Roasted Potatoes for dinner...
No dessert. I'm guessing Cereal for breakfast and Eggless Egg Salad for lunch tomorrow.

I wish you'd freeze your waffles and send them to me. I don't have a waffle maker.

Too bad TJs doesn't sell waffles that are nearly as awesome.... The lentil soup does look refined! I reached my lentil max for the winter ready, i just kept tossing them into soups and don't think i can manage another for a while now. Stupid neverendingwinter.
Your dinner potatoes look great as always, and the golden chop is still a bit mysterious.....

I snorted tea through my nose when i read your reply to abby from yesterday!! (Visual of you-in my head you're tall and brunette-leaning over and licking the splattered with godknowswhat sneeze shield.....)

You are so fancy and elegant with these meals. The beautiful lentil soup, the garnished golden chops... so fancy. I haven't had nearly enough soup this winter and I think I should remedy that. As always your potatoes look amazing.

Every winter I say it is my last winter in NY. Maybe I'll be speaking the truth this year :) The thought of moving to FL or CA is SOOOOOO enticing.

I didn't have dessert yesterday either, since I had 4 years' worth this past weekend. But that waffle with syrup is where it's at!

The lentil soup does look particularly fantastic. Your waffles remind me about the pumpkin in my pantry...

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, a Waffle Maker would definitely weigh you down in your travels. Once you settle in one place, you will get your appliances.

Unknown, the Golden Chop is better than Boca Chicken Cutlets cuz it's all non-GMO and the crust is crispy. You may stumble across a package one day in your Chinatown travels. I'm 5'5" and brunette and that sneeze guard did not seem to be guarding anything or anyone. If/when I come down with something next week, I'll be able to pinpoint the origin.

Sarah, the blogosphere would rejoice if you would ditch that car, move to a sunny climate and get your bicycle.

Abby, using Organic Grade B Maple Syrup equals healthy and nutritious meal.

Ingrid, I do believe you would really enjoy the PPK Pumpkin Waffles. Not the simplest recipe, but makes a lot and they're really good.
