WTF Monday

Yesterday, I made a batch of PPK Pumpkin Waffles.  While the majority of them didn't come out too pretty, what they lack in looks, they more than make up for in taste. TJ's Maple Syrup on top of one of those bad boys for breakfast this morning...
A Field Roast Frankfurter with leftover Fries for lunch...
Random Girl Beef Stroganoff for dinner (made using VWAV Seitan)...
A Cat in a Dog Bed...
More extreme comfort food tomorrow.

Kitty!!! Oh my goodness that picture melts me cold, bitter heart! So adorable!!

Ooooh pumpkin waffles sound perfect on a disgusting snowy day like today. Yours looks like they came out great. I should break out the waffle iron at some point. THe oven fries look nice and crispy and the stroganoff definitely looks nice and comforting. I've never heard of pb Newman O's!! That sounds so good... especially with a cold glass of almond milk, yum!

Oh my gawd, if only that cat were in my bed instead. So fluffy. Is that one cuddly?
I am so addicted to Newman-Os. I usually get the ginger ones and can't stop eating them.
The waffles look good! Ingrid's photos convinced me to buy some Vans frozen ones but homemade (pumpkin) is really the way to go. Well done.

As I was in throws of Superbowl depression yesterday, I missed that post - so let me say, I'm going to copy your nacho potatoes thing. Looks fantastic.

On to today - I really just want to talk about the cat, but I'm mostly upset I can't remember the name. :( Adorable, none the less.

And I want stroganoff.

Look at you cooking up a storm! Who cares what the waffles look like, they sound delicious. Totally brilliant to make a stash for future breakfasting. And the stroganoff is impressive, it does look like a perfect wintery day meal.

Your gorgeous fluffy kitty looks comforting too.....does he (she?) purr loudly?

Last time i had a pomelo it was just like a giant grapefruit- the pith is really thick. Probably worth a go, i was just too lazy to schlep the heavy thing all over the place.

Tell me more about these "leftover" fries you speak of; I've never experienced such a thing.

While everything looks quite delicious, my favorite part of this post is the kitty.

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, if anyone has a warm, sweet heart it is you. I found the PB Newman O's at a discount outlet. Don't know if they are still sold in regular stores.

FF, Mango is very fluffy, but not so cuddly. He can do whatever he wants to us, but we can't touch him. I have Ingrid to thank for inspiring me to buy a waffle iron and then she goes off and buys frozen waffles.

Ingrid, sorry your team lost. The Nacho Potatoes were good, but I wish I'd known of the Totcho Potatoes sooner. My big orange cat is appropriately named 'Mango'.

Unknown, occasionally I get obsessed with making old favorite recipes. Monsieur Mango does purr loudly, but is best known for coming up and sneezing in my face just when I'm about to fall asleep. It's a gift he has. I'll try schlepping home a Pomelo next time I'm at the Asian grocery. They're usually only about $1. If it ain't so great, I can toss it in the compost pile.

Abby, you gotta make a ton a Fries in order to have leftovers. A ton.

Hannah, oh dang. You had me going there for a few secs. Now I'm bummed.

RVs, that's why I added the kitty pic.
