WTF Friday

A Banana, PB and Hemp Milk Smoothie for breakfast. It is such a noisy endeavor to make a Smoothie. I don't understand how folks can stand the sound of grinding so early in the morning. It scares the poor little cats as well...
Another Common Market carryout item for lunch: The 'Tempeh Stack' Sandwich $5.59. This Sandwich was created especially for the Super Bowl...
Skinny Bitch Red Wine 'Beef' Stew (still no Peas) for dinner...
A Greens + PB & Dark Chocolate Crisp for dessert...
What will I eat tomorrow? I hope whatever it is is good.

Your smoothie looks and sounds great. I agree on the noisiness. I want to make one tomorrow but don't want to wake everyone up doing so... I'll have to wait on my smoothie I guess.

Another amazing looking sandwich. You've been making me crave them over the past few days, yum. I bet there were a lot of happy vegans on Sunday.

I'd say that maybe smoothie lovers don't have bpts, but we all know 97% of vegan food bloggers are cat owners.

Whoa I feel like I've clicked on an entirely new blog! A smoothie for breakfast and greens in a dessert??
I am 100% with you on the grating noise factor of smoothies in the morning. Especially living in an apartment building where I can hear the baby in the next building CONSTANTLY crying and the guys across the hall arguing with their significant others, let alone my pre-caffinated self and hungover roommate. I keep smoothies to weekends, and as a later breakfast than usual. Haxan is always skittish, so there's nothing I can do about that.
Greens can be really well hid in just about anything. Very intrigued by those criso bars.

The blender noise just helps wake you up! ;) i make juice most mornings- and that thing can be loud- but my neighbors can suck it. Next door dude sings at the top of his lungs constantly and i think the upstairs people are still having furniture pushing races at 2am.
Anyhow. What a great sandwich there- nothing common about that market!!! I'm really impressed by their vegan options there. And that stew is perfect wintery dinner.
I was just looking at that bar yesterday- was it yummy??

I'm in agreement; I like smoothies but the noise is jarring. Kind of like I can only listen to NPR on the way to work because I'm not ready to bop my head to the beat of a song.

The sandwich looks great, even five days after the Un-Super Bowl.

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, if a vegan option is offered where it's usually non-vegan, I'll buy it to show support (like I did with the 'Tempeh Stack'). Didn't suffer too much though;-)

Hannah, and the 3% of vegan bloggers that don't have cats are planning to adopt a cat as soon as circumstances allow.

FF, I felt like a million bucks with all my healthy eating yesterday. You can hear a baby in the next building? I would call social services about that one. I'm surprised Haxan is skittish after all the moves/roommates she's experienced.

Unknown, sounds like your building has a lot of character and characters. Can any of us ever escape our neighbors? The PB/Chocolate Bar was decent enough. I might pick up another one if I happen to see it again, but we're not talking Cleo Cups here.

Ingrid, ha! The 'Un-Super Bowl'? Is someone still bitter about the game?
