Saturday, February 1st

Started the day with a plate of Fries $1.59 at LEDO Pizza (actually, we started the day off at the Verizon store trying to get them to explain our phone bill to no avail, but anyway)...
My 8" 'Viva La Vegan' $8.24...
What does one eat for dinner after all that? An Oven Roasted Tofurky Sandwich with lots of Vegenaisse....
With another littler Sandwich like the one above for dessert. I may have over-done it today.

Look at that fancy tofurkey folding. Perfect curves.

Verizon is the devil incarnate.
Those fries are impressive for a pizza joint! Love all the veggies on there- and avocado?
That is a lovely and very symmetrical sandwich. Must have been the marble rye luring you for seconds.

I go to the farthest east part of chinatown- aka the part the tourists can't find- and i'll walk blocks before seeing another gringo. I love it! And the groceries have the best selection of tofu, the pressed one with soy sauce is a favorite.

Both fries and pizza would be a necessary treat after dealing with any corporation. I have to have my Data turned off, otherwise it won't use my home WiFi. I spent a long time trying to get that sorted out. . .also to no avail!

Haha, I agree with TT - those spirals in the marbled bread must have hypnotized you into eating a second sandwich. Although if I were bread, I'd probably do everything I could NOT to get eaten. But maybe yr bread is suicidal. Suicidal bread and poisoned soup. Time to get a meal out, methinks.

That's some pretty bread. It's been a long time since I had Tofurky & I've been craving a sandwich. Always so delicious.

We go through Sprint and have never had any problems with them. Just in case you're thinking of switching....

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, I wish the Tofurky was perfectly folded, but, as usual, mediocrity reigns supreme here.

Unknown, sitting in the Verizon store for hours is why I first resisted getting a smart phone. Now I'm hooked. So happy to have a Marble Rye again. I've been to NYC's Chinatown twice. Ate at "Big Wong" both times and it was the best Chinese food I'd ever had or have had since. If I ever make it back to NYC, I have other places I need to get to before I can consider visiting Chinatown again.

Ingrid, you are a strong woman to deal with the data and wifi issues on your own. I switched out of our unlimited data plan last month because they said we'd save $50/month. Naturally, the next bill comes in at $80 more per month. I can't cope with that sh*t.

FF, to me Tofurky, Vegenaisse and Marble Rye is like Beets, Nooch and Tahini to you. If you are a bread and don't want to get eaten, try covering yourself in blue fur. I may or may not eat the remaining bowl of poisoned soup depending how suicidal I'm feeling.

RVs, just like Joey Tribbiani, Sandwiches are my favorite food. Thanks, we saw a Sprint commercial tonight and discussed the situation further.

Verizon seriously sucks more than anything. I need to switch my service and I'm out of contract now so it's just a matter of getting over to a new company.

Those fries look so amazing! Seriously nothing better than a plate of perfectly cooked fries. The pizza looks really fresh and tasty too. Glad you indulged in your favorite food for dinner and dessert. Sandwiches are definitely fun I can see why they would be your favorite :)

Sarah, I was wondering where you were. Hope you're just busy with your nieces and 'nephews'.
