Still Kicking

Lunch was at Loving Hut where I had the Club Sandwich $9.50...
with the daily side dish: Potato Salad. Tasted just like the real stuff.
These were the days specials, just so you can understand the decision I had to wrestle with:
Mr. SV always gets the Pho $7.50, so it's a no-brainer on his part.
Dinner was the Shebeen Salad $5.95 at Auld Shebeen. I was out and about today.
A third of a slice of Summer Citrus Cake $5 from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut.
Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.

So, you're still here too? Maybe we're the only ones left...that's ok, more vegan goodies for us. It all looks delectable. That is a mean set of choices...the Loving Hut around here is out of my way, so I've never been, but I'm starting to think that I need to go...asap...before the next doomsday.

I'm still here too! heh

I think I would have picked the same choice out of the specials. That sandwich looks filling!

I would have picked the Club Sandwich, too. I almost always pick the Club Sandwich, if it's an option.

Hello, Delightful Vegans!!!

Rose, I'm sure you would have to pass 20-30 vegan restaurants to get to your local Loving Hut, unlike moi, who would have to pass zero.

VF, this was my first club sandwich in my life. Your turn now to try something new -- go try some quiche!

Jenny, thanks for reaffirming my choice!

Dianne, I actually think my pic looks better than their's -- no orange slices messing it all up. I purposely sat next to the window to get the light.

VaVa, Mr. SV loves the Pho. I've never had Pho of any kind. Gotta try it one day.

Kimberly, yes, kudos to Vegan Treats for coming up with a summery dessert.
