Lots O Broccoli

Ma Po Tofu and a Spring Roll from PF Changs. Just like last time, it was super oily. Hope they didn't change their recipe.
Chesapeake Tempeh Cakes with Steamed Broccoli for dinner.
Vegan Treats Coconut Cake. Still zeroing in on the meaning of this cake -- besides the obvious.
Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.

Oh, I hate it when a restaurant changes a perfectly good recipe. Hopefully, that didn't happen here.

The obvious being, IT'S DELICIOUS.
I think the thing that bothers me most about food, maybe even more than a flavor is when it's too oily. And food is far too often way too oily. Yech. Stick with the cake.

Bummer about the oily Ma Po...maybe you should tell them; it might be a new cook in the kitchen or something...sure looks good though!

I think you can request it be made in veggie broth instead of oil (or at least less oil). Pei Wei is owned by the same people, and they allow that.

The tempeh ckes look good, but what looks even BETTER is the Ms po tofu! I love that stuff and you always have to post it and taunt me with it!!

I agree, tell them about the Ma Po. You can do it on their website.

Looks like you had great food all weekend, though!

What wonderful comments!!!

Blessed Mama, you know it happens all too often.

FF, the BP spill had nothing on this dish.

Rose, thanks, but I've gone to two separate PF Changs, both locations made it oily. Say it ain't so!

Emily, good for you for doing whatever you can to stay vegan. I know if vegan blogs were around in my teen years, I'd have been able to be vegan then and life would've been a million times better.

Dianne, you're the one that turned me on to the Tempeh Cakes in the first place! And then reminded me about them!

Morgan, wish you posted restaurant meals so I could hear if your PF Changes Ma Po experience is still great.

Michelle1, I've been all about the crumb for years. In fact, I was totally pondering the perfect crumb last night whilst enjoying my dessert.

Jessica, spill it, Sister! Sumthins up and the internet needs to know!
