WFH Wednesday

Lunch was this bag of Smart BBQ that has been in my fridge so long it had a sell by date of 2005.
Purdy ain't it?....It tasted better than it looked, which is not saying much, but I wouldn't buy it again..
Dinner was a head of Romaine Lettuce with TJ's Chickenless Chicken, Fresh Gourmet Croutons, Red Onion and WF's Roasted Red Pepper Hummus.
Dessert was three of these cookies...
Uno! Dos! Tres!
Some Simi Valley to wash it all down with. Obviously, you have not come to a gourmet type website.

I'm still jealous of your WFH Wednesdays...oh well, that salad looks good...I'm still trying to figure out what to make for dinner...may be just a salad.

Who needs gourmet when you have delicious comfort food? I'll take bbq and cookies over some fancy plate any day. I almost bought some of that Smart BBQ when I saw it marked down at a grocery store a few weeks ago and then I realized it'd probably sit in my fridge forever before I got to it ... guess it keeps for awhile. Damn. I shoulda bought it.

Wow! Four comments! Thanks, Ladies!

Michelle, WFH=Working From Home, i.e., suffering at home is preferable to suffering in a cube, however, it also means a homemade lunch.

Bianca, you didn't miss much w/the Smart BBQ. I do not recommend it.

have you ever tried the...hold on lemme get the box out of the freezer..... morningstar hickory bbq riblets? they are really good. freaky how real they taste. my husband een cautioned me against them, he didnt think they were completely vegan:) but they are :)

I've tried the morningstar ribz, but not recently. I have heard good things about them, so maybe I will try them again. I used to make tons of ribs myself using Fat Free Vegan's Seitan Ribz recipe and that kinda got me off buying them.
