Very Good Grub

Lunch was some steamed Broccoli and Jasmine Rice off Wegman's hot bar as well as a cup of Moroccan Chickpea and Lentil Stew...
Dinner was leftover Stroganoff....
and lots of Frontera Shiraz. More later (and by later I mean tomorrow).

guess what? we dont have a wegmans.ok now im really laughing because its just ridiculous. the next time i go to eds deli (my savior, they know me and know what i want) im going to take a picture of the colossal sandwich that they make me, its like an inch deep in avocado and then another five inches on top with lettuce etc.

the ending to this post was cute

oh and my friend actually got her duck from mcmurray (sp?) because they are the only hatchery that will ship you small numbrs of birds. but the only thing that i dont like about a big place like that is that i dont know what they do with the excess male birds. females are safe for awhile because they are "useful" but males are grown jsut enough to be butchered. you know what i mean? if you have time get bak to me on that, id like to know another vegans opinion. thats why i was thinking a smaller operation??

That sandwich sounds awesome. We don't have an Ed's deli around here;-(

McMurray does to the male chicks exactly what you think they do. The best thing I guess is to order 'straight run' (a mix of males & females). Have you looked into Eggbid.com or Ovabid.com yet?

yes that is a good idea! the straight run, but then is that still supporting a place that helps hurt animals? im just still on the fence you know? i also know that its a personal choice so if you dont want to get into morals with me ill understand:) my husband would rather just order day old babies i think. but i want to see them hatch!:)
