'Lotus Spicy' with Brown Rice from Lotus Vegetarian $7.95 Diced Soy Protein sautéed with Dried Tofu, Celery, Organic Carrots, Green and Red Bell Peppers, sprinkled with Peanuts in Spicy Kung Pao Sauce. Spring Roll on the side. They added new items to their menu since the last time I visited, so hopefully I'll try something new next time.
Chickpea Cutlets and Sweet Potato Fries with Curry Sauce (Vegenaisse and Curry Powder) for dinner.
Align Left
A Pumpkin Chai Nicobella Truffle for dessert. Gone through some temperature changes, but still tastes great.

Sunday, October 9th

Lunch was a bunch of stuff off Wegman's Salad Bar with Fresh Gourmet Croutons and Goddess Dressing added to my own Red Leaf Lettuce when I got home. Make sense?
A bowl of mega spicy Black Bean Soup with a cooling dollop of Sour Supreme (thanks for the hint, Rose!) for dinner.
Followed by a Tofurky Roast Beef Sandwich, because no matter how satisfying dinner may be, I still must overeat.
Coming up next: Stuff I eat on Monday!

Lunch was at Great Sage. It has been several years since I'd been here and apparently I've really been missing out.
My 'Ginger Snap Cookie Cocktail' $9 - Domaine De Canton Ginger Liqueur, Van Gogh Vanilla Vodka, Frangelico, Soy Milk and Spices. Brown Sugar crust on the rim of the glass, little Cinnamon Stick stirrer.
'Spinach and Artichoke Dip' to start $10 - A warm crock of house-made creamy Artichoke Spinach Dip with Daiya 'Parmesan' and Toasted Crostini. Fantastic! One of the best things I've eaten in ages, and that includes everything. My 'Club Sandwich' $12 - 'Turkey', 'Bacon', Romaine Lettuce, Tomato, Guacamole and Vegenaisse on Toasted Wheat Bread. Served with Kettle Potato Chips. I can't wait to go back!

Mr. SV had room for dessert, the lucky b*****d! 'Raw Chocolate Mousse' $7 - Extremely rich, powerful and silky smooth, made with Raw Cacao, Tahitian Vanilla and Agave Nectar.
Five hours later, I enjoyed the leftover Spinach & Artichoke Dip for dinner. Still great .
No dessert for the second night in a row. I'll make up for it soon enough.

Dinner was leftovers from
Sunflower-'Curry Supreme' (Chunks of Soy Protein served with Broccoli, Potatoes, Mushrooms, Carrots and Green Peas in a special Japanese Curry Sauce).
To all who noted the amount of sweets stored in my home: it's just that I like to know it's there, just in case. Never know what I'll be craving.

WTF Wednesday

It is a WTF Wednesday extravaganza.
Hummus, Everything Bagel and Olives all courtesy of Wegmans for lunch.
Dinner was another Soup Mix. Assembled by Amy, it included TWO spice packets for lots of Southwestern Flavor, aka spiciness.
This was so spicy, it was almost inedible. But I ate it anyway.
Nothing on the dessert trolley appealled to me so dessert was Wayfare We Can't Say It's Cheese on Club Crackers.
It might actually be a garage seat draped in a towel, but it is two-tiered and on wheels, so for all intents and purposes it is a Dessert Trolley.
The Cookie Trolley showcases my love of Uncle Eddies PB Chocolate Chip (usually enjoyed crumbled on ice cream), along with all things Snickerdoodle.
Here comes the Candy Trolley! A bag of Peanut Chews is a must have in any vegan home.
Clang! Clang! Clang!

It was 'Seitan Making' weather today -- cold and wet. Thus, the remainders of Stroganoff for lunch.
Veganomicon's Simple Seitan with Mashed Potatoes & Roasted Brussel Sprouts for dinner.
In preperation for hibernation, dessert was a really old piece of a Sticky Bun from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut. (A little white frosting from a different dessert got stuck to it).
Some Chickpea Cutlets were made today as well, so look forward to seeing those this week.

After all the Potatoes at lunch, I knew I wasn't gonna be having Potatoes at dinner. Boca Chick'n Patties and Roasted Brussel Sprouts to the rescue.
Wayfare We Can't Say It's Cheese on Ezekiel WW Bread for dessert. They definitely can't say it's cheese.
Gussied up with a sprig of wilted Parsley in honor of MoFo.
I like to say that every day is MoFo here. Because it is.
