I Love Food, Especially In Large Quantities

Red Robin hit it out of the park again today.
Dinner was my first attempt at creating one of Zoa's Hot Pot/Noodle Bowls. My elements (Napa, Sprouts and Tofu) were a tad bland, but the Chili Sauce tied it together nicely and I look forward to future experimentations.
Dessert was the absolute last of the Apple Apricot Cake (I swear). There is no more, and, for the record, it is finally starting to lose its moistness.
Black Swan Shiraz.

The hot pot looks fab! Watch out Zoa, here comes Shen! How did you get the tofu so nice and golden?

Wonderful meal day. Those thin rice noodles are so pretty! Your tofu, awesome! Whether you bought it or not (I always buy mine). Thank you for the link :-)

The noodle bowl does indeed look good. I could really go for some food like that right now.

I look forward to seeing the next dessert - I love how you pace yourself. I would probably try, but I have to get to things before the rest of the household eats them all.

Hello, FF & Ladies!!!

Thanks for the nice comments on the noodle bowl. The tofu is sold as pre-cooked spongy blocks. Super absorbent.

Some of my desserts do last an unusually long time. But I will eat them all before wasting a crumb. I'm a card carrying life-long member of 'The Clean Plate Club'.
