Coming Up With Blog Entry Titles Can Be A Pain

Sona Indian Restaurant was the lunch venue today. Salad, Soup & Naan were all included in the $9.99 price of my entree. Below is my vegan salad with spicy Chickpeas & Potatoes.
Toasted Cumin Seed Soup was simultaneously mysterious and satisfying.
Aloo Cholay, aka Potatoes & Garbanzos in SPICY Tomato Sauce.
Dinner was Vegan Grillers with TJ's Veggie Chili & Tater Tots.
Dessert was Apple Apricot Cake. Great recipe. Did I mention this cake was moist?
Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.

Hi Shen, for some reason the Toasted Cumin Seed Soup is calling my name. I would love to make it. Everything else looks delicious as well. It looks like a fantastic day of eating:)

I love Indian food but I have never seen toasted cumin seed soup! They certainly have some nice dining options down there. And the price is right, eh?

The soup sounds intriguing. I haven't eaten since breakfast; I'm pretty hungry after looking at all the great food.

Hello, Ladies & Germ!!!

Deb, this soup was so unique, I'm sure you could make it your own. Sauteed Onions & Garlic, Toasted Cumin Seeds, Cooked Lentils, Cilantro.

FF, so silly. Our dining options are pitiful.

Rose, what are you so busy doing?

Michelle1, I didn't know it was the oil that made the cake moist, I thought it was the apples. Learn sumpin new every day. Nope, no Indian buffet, just a lunch deal. Thanks for the offer to enter your giveaway, but YOU would have to pay ME to take them noodles off your hands.

Blessed Mama, yeah, the apple cake is moist and delicious, but your desserts are always the best!

lol ok(noodles) the apples add moistness but it does have more oil than other cake recipes, i think its to make up for eggs and other "normal" ingredients. i think at least, and honestly you shouldnt listen to me, did you see MY cake? ...or were you making fun of me...this would be a perfect thing to give to somebody that isnt vegan, they would be blown away. so i am keeping it on my mind for the holidays. i really want to make something for walters bosses that tastes good:)
