Friday, May 30th

Oatmeal is a good breakfast when you don't know what you're having for lunch....
Mom picked Amalfi's for lunch. I had the House Salad....
and the side of Pasta that came with her Eggplant Parmigiana. Not to mention a ton of Bread with Olive Oil...
A Bowl Of Good Lentil Soup for dinner. Sad to see this soup gone...
A spoonful of Cinnamon Raisin Swirl for dessert...
Bye for now.

The PB & Co. peanut butter is on sale at the local WF this week! Do they sell it in yrs? It's the cheapest I've ever seen it if you can find it.

That is a serious hunk of onion on your salad there! Sounds like a good enough lunch, italian food is never vegan friendly.... Who knows why its so hard to have a pasta dish with chickpeas, veggies and olive oil....

I hope you didn't eat the bay leaf in your soup! I'm sure you will be back to the soup people before long for a refill. The pb spoon looks like a wonderful dessert to me.

I made up for lost time biking everywhere the past few days, its been perfect weather for it here!

Well, at least I was half right with the salad choice. It must not be hot, or you must like soup year round - while it looks delicious, I need cold weather for soup!

(Obviously, I am still cranky from my classroom being 88 degrees everyday this week).

That is a pretty nice looking house salad. usually it's a bunch of iceberg with a piece of tomato and cucumber but that looks great! Gotta love the bread and olive oil. Despite the heat the soup looks really great. Hooray for cinnamon raisin peanut butter, I can't wait to slather mine on some celery!

Hey Now!!!!

FF, unfortunately, I won't be hitting WF's this week. The PB I'm currently enjoying is one of the jars you sent.

Unknown, no spelling mistakes that I see. Was there a big hunk of Onion in the Salad? I just shovel it all in blindly, praying I get through lunch with as few issues as possible. I've yet to eat a Bay Leaf that I'm aware of. I wonder if I would ever actually get on Citibike and ride freely around the city. I'm thinking not, I would be afraid I wasn't doing it right.

Ingrid, I agree, it's not soup weather at all, but when new vegan soup presents itself, I gotta eat it. You sure go through the wringer trying to broaden those young minds.

Sarah, how funny that you're gonna spoil perfectly good Celery with PB. Sure you can't try to eat the Celery au naturelle?
