Saturday, February 8th

After sleeping in late, lunch was at Black Bear Bistro. My 'Vegan Meatloaf Sandwich on Rye' $7.50 with Onion & Tomato....

unasked they gave me a big dollop of Vegenaisse on the side! That is what I call hospitality. All super delicious as usual.
Not the best picture, but below are some (not all) of their latest offerings. They had Vegan Sloppy Joes as a special today. You just never know till you get there what to expect...
Used up some leftover Super Bowl Nacho Fixins making some Tostadas for dinner...

Peanut Butter Newman-Os for dessert. These things ain't bad. At all...
LPQ tomorrow? It could happen.

When I made the Happy Herbivore meatloaf bites a few weeks ago, I ate one as a sandwich. . .with vegenaisse. It was awesome. Therefore, I can imagine the awesomeness of your lunch.

I'm sending positive vibes, "LPQ, LPQ, LPQ"...

Glad you slept in- that sandwich is impressive! And those fries look extra delectable..... Another place with multiple vegan choices :)
The tostadas are so fun and colorful, great use of leftovers. I usually go for the ginger-os, but pb and chocolate is always a winning combo.

The greens bar looked too "healthy" for what i want as dessert but not "healthy" enough for what i want for breakfast.... So i got the sweet and sara rice krispie treat
Hope LPQ happens!

Wow, what a great looking lunch. The details are always what make a place extra special. The fries look really delicious too. I'm sure it all tasted even better after sleeping in too :)

Your tostadas look like perfection. Really bright and colorful, a great way to use up leftover fixins. Really delicious dinner. I think I want to make a burrito bowl now ;)

Hopefully at this point your belly is fully of LPQ deliciousness.

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, it was a very awesome sandwich. Your vibes worked! Can you help me win the lottery?

Unknown, I only bought these PB Newman O's cuz they were at Big Lots for $1.30. If I get back, I'll look fo rthe Ginger Os. The Greens Bar worked for me as sort of a 'Dinner Part II'. I agree, it wasn't breakfast material. I'm so glad I'm immune to the charms of the Rice Crispy Treat.

Sarah, my belly is full of LPQ deliciousness! Sorry you don't have one near you, they have lots of healthy stuff you would enjoy.

Hannah, I'd enjoy reading one of your in-depth reviews of the PB Newman O's.

FF, we went to Black Bear Bistro specifically for the Chili and they were out! Major disappointment. Totchos will happen for Super Bowl 2015.
