Dinner and Dessert were good

Senate Navy Bean Soup from Whole Food's. Harrable! Only ate half.
Yesterday, all the vegans were jealous of FF's Kale Salad, so I tried to make one today. To no avail. Couldn't hold a candle to the Kale Salad o' Greatness.
Tofurky Beer Brat #3. This time with LOTS of Hot & Sweet Mustard now that I know I like it.
Blue Fin Pinot Noir ($3.99 at TJ's).

That navy bean soup doesn't really even look appetizing at all.

Glad you found the right way to dress the brat - is there one left?

This is the second time I've seen someone post about senate navy beans...what's the deal with the senate and navy beans?

Sauerkraut! Yum!

Also, I think your kale salad looks just fine.

You can usually count on Whole Food's soups to taste really good-sorry the Senate Navy Bean Soup was a disappointmen. Did you let them know that is wasn't that great? Morgan's Chocolate Nutty Brownies is always a fun treat!

Have you tried putting the pickle slices in the bun? Be crazy!

Oh yeah! Bringing back the brownie action. I agree with blessedmama. Get crazy with those pickles girl.

Sorry the soup didn't turn out to be good...I hate when that happens.

LOL...I had a FF salad for lunch today. It will be in my post a little later. It wasn't as pretty but it sure tasted good with her marinade!

You sure do like tempting us with the Brats don't ya. :o)

Hello Fellow Vegans!!!

Jessica, are you a mathmetician?! Yes, one Brat left from the pack of four.

Rose, f*ck if I know. Navy Bean Soup is so great, the Senate apparently ruined it.

Michelle1, no, my Kale Salad wasn't marinated. The ideal Kale Salad is first massaged w/some sea salt, then the avocado is worked through it. I confess, this Kale Salad took a few shortcuts.

Deb, I never complain at WF's or anywhere that people handle my food.

Blessed Mama, I was worried that Pickles and Sauerkraut wouldn't go together. Who knows if we're even allowed to eat pickles w/brats???? Them Sheboyganers may come after me if I don't do it right!

Morgan, the only pickles I have are chips so no getting too crazy w/those.

Michelle2, should be interesting to see your Kale Salad.
