That's definitely my kinda breakfast. Looks good and hearty.
A TJ kinda day, huh? They sure do make life easier. Still haven't tried any of their pre-made salads though. I definitely would have needed to throw some chickpeas or something in there.
Choco Chews ftw! I ate a ginger candy today that was similiarly textured and I feared for my teeth... (nope, still haven't gone to the dentist.)

Those ezekial english muffins are so good, love how dense and whole grain-y flavored they are. And its nice to have a salad all done and waiting for you. Some of the other salads sound so good and yet have cheese all over them or somesuch that's not like a seperated on the side packet that can be tossed. Cheese on salad is weird!! Bleh.
Why eat less tomorrow? Gonna start skipping meals?? This is hardly an indulgent day... !

Yeah my day to day hasn't been especially glamorous lately.... I'm sleeping late, biking, and drinking wine this weekend :)

That salad looks great! I love hearts of palm! The potato salad looks great too. I always feel like potato salad is better when someone else makes it. When I make homemade, it just always seems to be lacking. Great food day!

Oooh yes!! That breakfast looks like absolute perfection. I see that in my immediate future. The salad looks really fantastic too. Your dinner looks like a perfect summer meal. I need to hunt down those choco chews. I think I always forget until I see you post them again!

Nice looking day! I will eat that TJ's salad soon, promise. ;)

Working on the trip agenda this morning, Grandma has been asking what I want to do! I'm leaning towards 50/50 down time and exploring. As I have a lifetime to sightseeing in the region, I'll take any suggestions you have for great views and activities (but not tons of walking, it's hard for her.)

Hey Now!!!!

FF, just dont eat any MaryJane Candies. They will pull your teeth out whether you want them to or not.

Unknown, agree on the Ezekiels. They are well worth the money. That is funny that you think cheese on a Salad is weird. My favorite Salad Bar Salad growing up would be iceberg lettuce piled with hard-boiled egg, tons of shredded cheddar, croutons and a humongous ladle of bleu cheese dressing. Those were the old oblivious days, but many people still make the same Salad today. I have seen them. Your idea of segregating the dairy products in the prepackaged Salads is excellent, BTW. I just see cheese on the label and dont bother to investigate further as to what else is in it. You had a scorcher of a day, hope you enjoyed a nice chilled glass of Lambrusco after.

VP, Potato Salad does taste better when made by someone else (although, I think I made a warm German/Grainy Mustard Style Potato Salad a few years ago that wasnt too shabby. I will have to research that.

Sarah, if you were a fan of Tootsie Rolls then you will like the Choco Chews. They are the same but better.

Ingrid, you could drive out (keep the speed limit, cops o plenty) to Bluemont Vineyard near me and enjoy a glass, some Tapas and the view. There are tons of vineyards with views here. Middleburg is a quaint town -- you can go check out the Salamander Resort . Potomac Mills has a free-standing, not attached to the mall, Ikea where you can enjoy Vegan Swedish Meatballs. Dont forget, you will be busy pounding Loving Hut Pho and that will take up a lot of your time here.
