How are you satisfied with only a grapefruit the size of an orange or breakfast?? If you knew how much food I cram in my face...
The Ethiopian looks awesome. I love the stuff. Hope you stocked up for tomorrow.

That looks like a super juicy grapefruit!
And an amazing lunch-i love ethiopian food and the mix and match dishes. How is injera a bread/pancake/crepe/utensil and still so good??
Brilliant idea to get dinner there too. Not dealing with the weather is a good call. I'm sure it's especially scary driving lately.

This week was sooo crazy busy! Glad its over. We were really lucky, the chinese ladies at work cook like crazy and brought in homemade lunch yesterday- (non chinese non cooks make a financial contribution they split up). A few vegan dishes, great veggie dumplings and a tofu longbean thing. Gung hay fat choy!

As one who hasn't had Ethiopian food, how is it eaten? Tear, tuck in filling, eat? Looks great!

Hey Now!!!!

FF, pulleeze! you are such a dainty eater! I would say you are daintier than Sarah!

Unknown, I wish I had the patience to try to make my own Injera. Fermenting things is something I never tried. Glad you got your Dumplings and Long Beans this week. We got about fiive inches today, DC doesnt handle snow well -- especially in terms of driving.

Ingrid, one of the few positives of living in the DC area (IMO) is the abundance of Ethiopian Restaurants. Yes, you use the Pancake (Injera) to eat the Legumes and Vegetables. I know you would love it...Grandma might not be so open-minded about eating it all with her hands, but maybe...

Sarah, you and Ingrid has really been missing out on the Ethiopian food. It is vegan friendly, delicious and economical. I always plan to raid the Trolley, but some days I just over do it, Hope your enjoying the cuddly Pups.
