WTF Wednesday

Grape Nuts with a lot of Almond Milk for breakfast...
After breakfast, I turned off the flash. One of my readers not only lives in Brooklyn but also toils in a basement. The joyous brightness of my food photos has apparently been searing her subterranean retinas. Below we have leftover Pasta Primavera with TJ's Meatless Meatballs for lunch.
WF's Red Pepper Hummus with Pizzettina Crackers for an afternoon snack.
Homemade Vegetable Soup for dinner.
Followed by Toffuti Cream Cheese and Rye Crackers.
Coming up tomorrow: A return to the flash. This darkness is ridiculous.

I love the low lighting! I think it looks really lovely. I never use a flash; I just keep turning on lights until I get enough illumination. But, all of my pictures are on either my Blackberry or a six year old digital camera.

I really need the "meatballs" to go on sale, I've been craving them but refuse to fork over $5.00 for a little bag.

Haha! Shen, you are too kind. I like the low lighting too, not just because my beady peepers are under-formed.
Digging the cookies. I love those things, ancient as yours may be.

That pasta looks great, and I have to get my hands on some of those pizzettina crackers. Where do you get them? I was looking for some at WF, but couldn't find any.

Yeah, the shots seem to get darker and darker...I'm all for mood lighting and such, but food looks yummier in the joyous brightness.

Haha the Brooklyn comment made me laugh :) I actually don't think your flash is that harsh or bright at all but the low light is very moody and interesting.

That pasta looks really good and those crackers with hummus get me every time. I'm also a big fan of crackers with tofutti so that looked good too :) Have you heard of the new Birthday Cake oreos? I'm so curious about them but I can feel my teeth rotting into my head just thinking about them. I may have to take one for the team and try it though ;)

I, too, like the lighting.

It wasn't until pretty recently that I first tried almond milk. Love it!

I guess the low lighting is OK. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't mentioned it.

Those cookies look good, as long as they were wrapped securely and don't taste old, I'd enjoy them. I could really go for that plate o' pasta right now.

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, the meatballs are surprisingly expensive. But, oh! so! delicious!

FF, hopefully you have a strong sense of sonar to navigate through the world.

Rose. thanks for telling the truth about the lighting. Anyway, I got the crackers at Big Lots. I bought about 15 bags to stock up cuz I've never seen them anywhere else either.

VaVa, I have not seen or heard of these new Oreos. I'll look for them.

Molly, isn't Almond Milk great?

Jessy, you're a shill for FF, aren't you?

Miss Rachel, you didn't notice the lighting difference? Ouch! The whole look of my blog completely changed, that's all! The cookies were still surprisingly fresh tasting even though they're several years old.
