Friday, March 9th

The usual take--to-work breakfast.
A Groupon induced lunch with Mom today. Cappellini Broccoli Agli Olio $10.95 Angel Hair Pasta cooked with Broccoli in Olive Oil Garlic Sauce. Served w/unpictured side salad at La Panetteria
I ate way too much bread and Olive Oil.
Marinated House Flavor $6.95 Stewed with Bamboo Shoots, Shiitake Mushrooms, Potatoes, Carrots and Soy Protein from Sunflower for dinner.
Half a WF's Chocolate Chip Muffin for dessert. At least this muffin had some chips in the bottom as well as on top.
Coming up tomorrow: Catching up on everyone's posts.

That pasta dish looks amazing. That is/was my favorite way to eat pasta, thin noodle with fresh veggies, garlic and olive oil. Yours looks great. That bread looks really nice and fresh too! Dinner looks really great too! You definitely had some pretty great meals. I don't really understand why WFs has such problems with their muffins? so strange. Unless they just put chocolate chips on the bottom of the liner and throw some on top. so they only have to make one batter? Lazy bastids ;)

I hope you have a great weekend!

That is so weird about the muffin! I feel like it's actually harder NOT to disperse the goodies. Did you split it in half first to see if this one was worth eating?

Lunch sounds absolutely fantastic! Fresh and tasty! Olive oil and bread is dangerously delicious.

I was just thinking about how we hadn't seen any Sunflower recently - and there it is!

It happened - I took pictures at WaterCourse this morning. You'd be so proud. I am currently in a food coma.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, I think you figured out the WF's Muffin secret -- the batter is the same for all muffins, they just toss something different in each tin! That's it! But who's gonna take credit for this hard hitting discovery?! Will it be me for buying and displaying the muffins, or you for figuring out the short cut? You're probably busy so I'll take the credit.

Molly, the pasta was especially good! Tons of Garlic and Olive Oil. Thanks, you have a nice weekend too!

FF, I cut the muffin in half prior to eating just to reconfirm my suspicions. I was actually surprised to see the chips on the bottom. Somebody in the bakery dept must've screwed up.

Ingrid, can't wait to see the pics. I must live vicariously through you cuz the odds of my getting to Denver are zero to none.

Bean, I don't eat muffins often either. I'm now inclined to only bake my own.
