Saturday, March 10th

Tofu Scrambler and Roasted Potatoes $8.95 for breakfast at Cafe Nola.
An Eggless Egg Salad Wrap $5.29 from The Common Market with Route-11 BBQ Chips for lunch.
Homemade Vegetable Soup for dinner. No dessert tonight, I am actually still digesting yesterday's food.
Coming up tomorrow: Trying to get used to being an hour ahead of the usual time all day.

Food looks scrummy today!!

Springing ahead is kind of a drag...I like pushing the clock back in the autumn...I usually wait to push the time back until about 4:00 on Sunday afternoon, just when I start getting depressed that the weekend is almost over; makes you feel like your Sunday is longer.

I think the best way to deal with pushing the clock ahead is to do it at about 4:00 on Saturday afternoon, then it's magically Happy Hour and time for cocktails.

Happy Saturday Shen!

I totally forgot about changing the clock so thanks for the reminder :)

Your breakfast looks great as it always does when you get that! I've never been a fan of egg salad (with or without eggs) but that wrap looks really phenomenal.

Hope you had a great Saturday and that you enjoy your Sunday!

I'm with Rose, we should have set the clocks ahead this afternoon and had some happy hour cocktails :) I'll make mine a margarita!

Hmm that tofu scramble looks oddly unscrambled and more contrived. Nevertheless, it looks good. The eggless salad wrap does too! Especially with the chips.
I saw someone joke that he set his clocks ahead 90 minutes 2 months ago so Daylight Savings time would be a breeze to adjust to, ha!

Your scramble does not look scrambled.

I've been seriously considering making eggless egg salad this week. I never have, but own three different cookbooks with the recipe. Let's see if it happens.

I'm already behind on sleep, maybe another hour's loss will drive me to delirium?!

Great looking scramble! I like how they cut the veggies for it. Very different!

The wrap & soup look delicious, too. Good eats!

Yours must be one of the sophisticated palates to which Nola is referring. I see they have some great vegan lunch offerings, as well.

Hey Now!!!!

Rose, I'll try to heed your advice next year. Little too late for this weekend.

VaVa, you're so lucky you're not a fan of egg salad. Highly caloric.

FF, true, this wasn't a classic 'scramble' per se but for those of us with no 'Champs' nearby, this is what we must endure till civilzation nears us.

Ingrid, do not make your own Eggless Egg Salad. Buy it premade. Trust me.

Molly, it was good eats. Lately I've been really eating good stuff.

Blessed Mama, Cafe Nola does have an intriguing menu to say the least.

yet another delightful looking food day!! the egg salad looks good--i never had it pre-vegan either so that would be a nice item to try.

the tofu scrambler looks pretty delicious too.

i'm feeling a little out of sorts b/c of the whole time change business.
