I probably don't know enough about pasta but that capellini is cracking me up. So thin!
my mom says snap out of it. PRONTO. (here's the part where you cringe and say OKAY then get a beer together and cackle a lot) She also says save her some o that cake.

Working from home ON A FRIDAY?!?! Woo hoo! I would not be working. I'd be out in the barn, throwing yarn at the cats, demanding they play with me.

There's a lot going on with the Kung Pao - didn't you have something different the last time? I enjoy capellini - it should show up in my life more often.

Soooo, my comment disappeared on yesterday's post twice! I still have no idea why it happens?!

Anyway! Your lunch looks so delicious. It looks like it's nice and spicy and that spring roll looks yummy! I'm a big fan of thin pastas and that cake is definitely making me a lot jealous! I have sugar/gluten envy!

Is that a spring roll on the side of your lunch plate? Love those.

The pasta and chili is an interesting combination, but one I have never tried. I too really enjoy capellini, but haven't had any in a while.

The slice of cake is a work of art!

I like the looks of that chili. I should probably make some this weekend--I think Saturday is going to be snowy and gross, so maybe then.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, don't you be laughing at my noodles! Just cuz your Mom has an iphone and knows how to use it.

Ingrid, I need to get up more pics of the barn cats. They're growing up so fast. Constantly rushing around everywhere. Yes, the dishes at Lotus Vegetarian are all intensely thought out combinations that mostly sound like they wouldn't work.

VaVa, your comment stuck today! Why?? Believe it or not, I think about you when I shovel in the gluten/sugar. I really do want to cut it out of my life.

Miss Rachel, yep, the Spring Roll comes with the lunch special. The Chili on Spaghetti is how it is served in the restaurant, so we like to recreate it that way at home to make it festive. It works!

Stacy, so snow on Saturday in Canada. Big surprise there. When isn't it snowing?

Rose, thanks! I must say I have been eating well. Not the rainbow, but good tasting stuff.
