Sunday, September 16th

The Crispy Chicken Burger (after a few bites) at Loving Hut for lunch.  The restaurant was nice and busy, which makes me happy cuz it's my favorite.
Tomato Cashew Soup from Soupergirl for dinner. If only they sold this like they sell Campbell's, I'd eat it all the time.
Eggless Egg Salad from Common Market for dessert.
And that's all I ate today (not counting the Vodka). Coming up tomorrow: Probably WF's for lunch.

Oh, Loving Hut. . .Yumminess abounds.

Must not have been red tomatoes in that soup. I do like the idea of cashews and tomatoes, it sounds very creamy.

You may have an extension, but having said that, I am expecting a higher quality product. ;)

That Loving Hut burger gets me every time. I was going to ask if it is seitan or veg/soy protein but I guess it doesn't matter because of the breading (the bun is easily removable). Boo! I finally checked out the menu for that location and it looks great! It's funny how every Loving Hut has a different menu. The only one I've been to is in Orlando and they have a great menu too.

The soup looks great and I bet it was really creamy. I also wish soups like that were more accessible. Yum!

The soup sounds fantastic. How do they sell their soups? Cans? Boxes? Tupperware? What Would Andy Warhol Do?

That sandwich always looks so good and your soupscription continues to be impressive!

I read an article in Slate about a new kind of vegan chicken called "Beyond Meat." Apparently, it's not widely available yet, but it's supposed to be really good. However, that chicken sandwich you've got there (not to mention the tenders at Trader Joe's) look good enough for me.

I don't blame you for not being able to wait to start eating the sandwich. It looks great, as does the soup. Tomato cashew? Be still my heart!

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, you are a hard *ss! I'm going to have to see my advisor if you're going to come down so hard on me!

VaVa, good thing you didn't ask about the Crispy Burger innards cuz I don't know what they are. Just that it is delectably deep fried.

FF, Soupergirl sells their soups in biodegradable tubs. Warhol would be torn between the crass commercialized Tomato Soup and the localized vegan Tomato Soup. I hope.

Skinny *ss, this Eggless Egg Salad tastes just like the real thing.

Mary, only one more week in my soupscription. Too bad the regular price is $70/month. Just can't justify that expense.

Miss Rachel, way to sneak in a little bragging that you read Slate.

Molly, the soup was just the right about of creamy. Very delicate, not heavy.
