Many years ago, I was addicted to Entenmann's Raspberry Danish (washed down with a pot of coffee). Last year I found some Rugelach in the store that tasted just as good and were also vegan.
October 3rd, 2009. I am food shopping as usual. I see a small table. Sitting on it were five boxes of Raspberry Creme Rugelah. (Don't know why the sign said 'Cinnamon')
Lunch was balls. Eleven Meatless Meatballs in Penang Sauce from Wegman's Asian Wokery Hot Bar.

yum! you shoulda bought all 5!
love how you were just like, "lunch was balls."
Thanks for the tip on the Rugelach. I wouldn't have even picked up the package to read the ingredients assuming it wasn't vegan.
You may have just inspired me to make some from scratch soon. I love rugelach and haven't made any in years.

Nora, believe me, I regret not buying all five.
Alicia, always inspect kosher items. I got some chocolate chips half off after Passover last yeat that are vegan.
Those pastries look so good!
