Monday, May 19th

A Raisin in every bite....
Vegenaisse in every bite...
A single Gardein Meatball yields enough bites for one plate of Spaghetti....
Every bite of a fresh Cleo Cup is mind-blowing...
Bye for now.

Sunday, May 18th

Harrimans Tofu Scramble with Tempeh Sausage and a ton of Roasted Potatoes $12 for breakfast. I just realized I could have taken those diced Scallions home to mix up with my Cream Cheese. Not sure what else one is supposed to do with them...

Mr. SVegetarian made Spaghetti tonight with Gardein Meatless Meatballs. Two Gardein Balls = Five TJ's Balls. The Gardein Meatless Meatballs are HUUUUGGEEE. And pretty good. So dry your vegan tears, the extinction of Trader Joe's Meatless Meatballs is no longer the end of the world....
I ate way too much Spaghetti (or the maybe it was the huge balls), nonetheless, I'm very uncomfortably full. To make up for the boringness of this post, Mango agreed to display his ability to nap in an empty box that used to hold bottles of mineral water....
Bye for now.

Half a cup of TJ's Raw Pecan Pieces for a mid-afternoon snack....

Vegan Treat's Key Lime Cheesecake for dessert...
Bye for now.

Friday, May 16th

An LPQ Matcha Muffin for breakfast. Yes, I knew to stock up on these bad boys. I've seen too many great vegan foods go the way of the dinosaur....
Lunch was carried out from PF Changs. Spring Rolls....
and Ma Po Tofu...
after about 2,000 calories ingested for the day, I decided to just prepare a light meal of Oven Fries for my dinner...
Bye for now.

Thursday, May 15th

Up close and personal with some Kashi Berry Fruitful and Hemp Milk for breakfast...
An Oven Roasted Tofurky Deli Sandwich for lunch. So great, it's a miracle I resisted making a second one for myself...
Mr. SVegetarian picked up BiBimBob for dinner from Mr. Noodle and Rice...
TJ's Dark Chocolate Covered Cherries for dessert....
Lunch with Mom tomorrow. Bye for now.

Wednesday, May 14th

Kashi Raisin Vineyard with Hemp Milk for breakfast..
Dawson's Market Eggless Egg Salad for lunch....
Gardein Turky Cutlets with Pasta O's for dinner....
It never crossed my mind to check if the Pasta O's were vegan. Upon linking to the product above I discovered that they are not. I thought I was at least safe in my own home. Some products should have a label warning "Not Vegan!"
Two Uncle Eddie's VEGAN Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies that were stuck together for dessert....
Bye for now.

Tuesday, May 13th

TJ's Organic Strawberries at $3.79/pound for breakfast. Didn't eat quite a pound since a few had to be discarded due to over ripeness....
Dawson's Market Eggless Egg Salad for lunch....
Viana Chickin Nuggets for dinner...
These weren't so great. After I eat the rest of the package, I won't be buying them again...

Carob Almond Butter Cup $1.09 for dessert. Also not a Cleo Cup...
Bye for now.

Monday, May 12th

Great breakfast as usual...
Then the food day went rapidly down hill. I steamed up half of a four-pack of Trader Joe's Artichokes for lunch. They looked bad at the store, but I still bought them. Super bitter! Harrable! Poo!
Field Roast Frankfurters and Oven Fries to the rescue for dinner. Helped wipe my palate clean....
A made-in-house Cassava Cake from Loving Hut for dessert...
Bye for now.

Sunday, May 11th

Banana with PB & Company Cinnamon Raisin PB on a Rudi's English Muffin for breakfast....
My Mother requested I pick up Salads at Chopt for lunch. This time I pre-ordered online and it went a lot more smoothly than last time. My 'Palm Beach' Salad $7.99 Romaine, Avocado, Tomato, Cucumber, Hearts of Palm and White Balsamic Vinaigrette was good. Better than something I could make for myself at home....
Common Market Three-Bean Chili with Root's Market Cornbread for dinner...
the rest of the Cornbread with EB for dessert....
Bye for now.

Saturday, May 10th

Sorry for the less than stellar post yesterday. My laptop battery has been 're-seated', and I'm back in business!
Following my favorite breakfast, it was time to hit up The Apple Store. Amidst the chaos, Mr. SVegetarian and I just sat and focused on this kid in his stroller who wouldn't wake up for nothin. Thanks, Kid, for keeping us centered...
Boca Burgers and Oven Fries for dinner...
Bye for now.

Friday, May 9, 2014

Friday, May 9th

The other half of my Tofu Scramble Burrito from Randy Radish for breakfast....
Lunch was at The Cheesecake Factory. It's surprising that in 2014, they still have so few vegan options. I was happy with my 'Fresh Vegetable Salad' $9.95 Asparagus, Green Beans, Tomato, Cucumber, Roasted Beets, Apple, Edamame, Radicchio, Romaine All Chopped with Pomegranate Vinaigrette...
Then my laptop died and now I am typing on my phone so nobody wonders what happened to me. bye for now.

Thursday, May 8th

Purely for ease of blogging, today's eats were exactly the same as yesterdays....
Yes, the Eggless Egg Salad...
and Mr. SVegetarian's Pho....
speaking of which, Mr. SVegetarian divulged to me the secret of his tasty Pho....
Purchased at Loving Hut, it is a spice mixture extraordinaire...
the last of the Raspberry Thumbprints for dessert...
Lunch with Mom tomorrow (vegan blogging trivia: Mom & I are going where Ingrid ate with her Grandmother whilst visiting Virginia). Bye for now.

Wednesday, May 7th

Nine gigantic Organic Strawberries for breakfast. These were bought on an even better sale this week: Two Pounds for $6.99. They were sweet and massive...
Common Market Eggless Egg Salad for lunch...
After many years of unsuccessfully trying to dine together in a conventional manner, Mr. SVegetarian & I gave up (well, I gave up, Mr. SVegetarian never really tried). We buy and eat our own food separately about 95% of the time. His primary sustenance is Loving Hut's 'Pho' -- stocking up on several quarts every weekend (along with their 'Spicy Noodle Soup' and Sunflower's 'Hot Hot Shabu Shabu'). These Soups get him through the week. Anyway, long story short, recently Mr. SVegetarian decided to try making 'Pho' himself. While not authentic, it was pretty, light, healthy and I'm always grateful when he cooks. So homemade Pho was my lovely dinner...
Two more Sweet n Natural Raspberry Thumbprints for dessert...
Bye for now.
