I have been eating these lately because they were voted 'Best-Tasting Meatless Burger'. For some reason that has sold me on them even though I could not disagree more with the vote.
Dinner was Potatoes, Green Beans and TJ's Chickenless Chicken tossed with a Dijon Vinaigrette.
Lunch was at La Mezzaluna Cafe in Charles Town, WV. They serve their Salad like the Olive Garden...
They also make their 'Garlic Knots' in a separate batch especially for us -- without the cheese. So warm and soft.
In addition to all of the above, we get a massive portion of Penne Contadina (Marinara Sauce & Broccoli with loads of Garlic) for $5.95
Dinner was the same as last night -- Okara Burgers with Tater Tots. I will confess a recent obsession with these Okara Burgers. They are so flat and tough, I just don't get it.
But unusually delicious! Lunch was a WF's salad...
Dinner was Boca Burgers with Daiya and Oven Fries...
Dessert was Coconut Milk Cookie Dough Ice Cream and Wow! It's so different and I'm so glad I finally tried it. I can only think to describe it as a clean taste.
Dinner was TJ's Chickenless Pulled Chicken (with some extra added Tabasco Sauce), Roasted Carrots and Zucchini Pancakes. To veganize the pancake recipe, I use six teaspoons of egg replacer and eight teaspoons of warm water in place of the eggs. I use 'Sugar in the Raw' instead of the granulated sugar and I use spray margarine on the skillet to prevent the pancakes from sticking when cooking.
Dessert was a cup of Pistachio nuts. I chose salt over sugar for my treat...
Lunch was at Sonoma Coffee Cafe in Stephenson. Their claim to fame is Crepes. (The owner said the Crepe mix is just Flour, Water and a little Salt -- no eggs). You pick your fillings, they heat them up in the Crepe, fold it up in a 'V' shape and serve it in a paper cone. I chose Spinach, Bell Pepper, Mushroom, Red Onion, Tomato & Balsamic Vinaigrette for my filling. It was decent, would've been better with lots of cheese.
Dessert was a Matcha Green Tea Frappe -- Soy Milk, Matcha Powder & Peppermint Syrup. Mr. SV insisted on hand modeling it for me since it was dripping all over his truck.
Dinner was Okara Burgers with Corn-On-The-Cob and Zucchini.
My second dessert of the day was a Coconut Mini. So Delicious!
Lunch was from Cafesano. A "zesty Avocado mix wrapped with Roma Tomatoes, Romaine, Scallions and Kalamata Olives." Served with baked Lavash Chips and Red Pepper Hummus. I also got a cup of the Vegetable Soup which was actually full of veggies.
I've been totally uninspired and tired after work lately, so dinner was, for the second night in a row, two Smart Dogs on a slice of Ezekiel Toast with Tots on the side.
