Hard to believe it trended on Yahoo!

Ingrid, what were you hoping to use the Soy or Almond Milk for in the restaurants? Just to add to coffee? I thought about giving you a clue to today's lunch, but I knew you'd never get it since we rarely do Lebanese Taverna. Wouldn't be playing fair.

VaVa, not just the cheese in restaurant dishes is concerning but the butter really gets me. I know restaurants love to put butter (and salt) in dishes to make them taste better.

Unknown, yeah, the couple gave vegans a bad rap. Yesterday was more of a rectangular lunch. I recall seeing those Eggless Egg Salad seasoning packets as well. Same for Tofu Scramble seasoning packets. Wonder if those seasoning packet companies went out of business?

Miss Rachel, didn't mean for the article to annoy. I was more fascinated that someone would bring their own dried Pasta to a restaurant. The commenters were actually pretty decent last I looked at the article.

Sage, good point. Probably because he's vegan for health reasons, so he's just obsessed with himself and doesn't think about how he's affecting anyone else.

Blessed Mama, I also avoid asking for special dispensation anywhere as well. Attracting attention to oneself in a restaurant scares me.

Hannah, gimme your addy and I'll snail mail you some Cleos. Feeling generous from the nine comments. Hurry before it passes.

1eded7a4-91c0-11e2-bd5a-000bcdca4d7a, Mr. SV eats differently. He actually eats mainly lots carryout Soups (Pho and Hot Hot Shabu Shabu) from Loving Hut & Sunflower, but he has to get his own boring blog to show all that.Vegan In The VIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05987192418948736625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817732670808777528.post-11505917353077954892013-04-05T17:42:36.061-04:002013-04-05T17:42:36.061-04:00everything looks delicious as always!!

I go out of my way to present veganism as a positive thing that friendly people choose to follow. Our family will pick something off the menu that is vegan or ask for something vegetarian and then have the dairy removed. If you are kind and respectful, you will get wonderful service and a smile when you return, not groans.blessedmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09281648597707759434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817732670808777528.post-65130073652240483792013-04-05T10:03:02.611-04:002013-04-05T10:03:02.611-04:00I hate it when a weirdo who happens to be vegan ma...I hate it when a weirdo who happens to be vegan makes the rest of the vegan community look weird by comparison.

If that guy was so concerned, why'd he even go out to eat?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01787853652737587274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817732670808777528.post-22234531213588076942013-04-05T08:15:00.910-04:002013-04-05T08:15:00.910-04:00I hate when articles focus on the fact people who ...I hate when articles focus on the fact people who behave badly are vegan. I mean, I guess their veganism was sort of germane to the story, but it still annoys me. Also it wrongly implies that pasta is not vegan. Argh, getting annoyed... think of something positive...your food looks yummy. Why do people feel the need to put cheese in EVERYTHING?! The pasta is iffy too though because eggs sneak their way in there too. Blech.

Great looking meals as always! The tofu with cashews looks pretty spectacular and dinner looks great too. Peanut butter and chocolate is a perfect way to cap off the day.xvavaveganxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06631140173063582288noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817732670808777528.post-69342978246675136372013-04-04T20:50:17.070-04:002013-04-04T20:50:17.070-04:00Ha ha! Now I know that I'd be in the newspaper.

Is that a hint that you'll be having Italian tomorrow, or are you trying to throw off my game?Ingridhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08233746363191114228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817732670808777528.post-1191587971285730172013-04-04T20:32:02.683-04:002013-04-04T20:32:02.683-04:00What a strange news story.
