Friday, February 28th

Breakfast arriving at work this morning...
Lunch was at La Sandia, where I requested my Margarita De La Casa with Salt, but they brought it without Salt. No biggie...
Devoured quite a few Chips with Salsa...
as well as Guac made table-side for two....
Mom & I split the Vegetable Fajitas. I specified no cheese or dairy, but they still sprinkled cheese on the Black Beans. Mom scooped it off for herself....
I was dying of thirst by the time I got home...
The rest of  Mr. SVegetarian's Pasta Salad for dinner...
No dessert. Tomorrow is a wild card.

PPK Pumpkin Waffle with TJ's Maple Syrup for breakfast...
Spicy Tempeh Salad off the WF's Salad Bar for lunch...
An average of less than once a year, Mr. SVegetarian makes his signature Pasta Salad with jar of Capers, jar of Artichokes in EVOO and diced Sun-Dried Tomatoes. Tonight was one of those occasions. Muy Delicioso..
Ritter Sport Dark Chocolate with Marzipan for dessert. I keep reading the ingredients, and I don't see anything non-vegan....
More WFH grub tomorrow.

Finally finished up the rest of the homemade Chili. Wont be making that recipe again...
This Cornbread was good though...
Tough going back to the Boca Chickn Patties. Very blah...
It was all downhill after breakfast. Hopefully, tomorrow will be more delicious.

Sunday, February 23rd

There were only two vegan options on the $8.99/pound WF's hot bar this morning -- Oatmeal or Potatoes. I wasn't gonna pay $9 for a bowl of Oatmeal, so I went with a little over a half a pound of Potatoes. They were good, but not as good as when they've been sitting under the heat lamp for many hours...
Mr. SVegetarian picked Taste of Burma for lunch. Hot towels are presented upon arrival, always pleasurable and reminds me of being on an airplane....
I started with the 'Fermented Tea Leaf Salad' (Let Phet Thoke) $8 Pickled Tea Leaf, Cabbage, Tomatoes, Sesame Seeds, Roasted Peanuts, Broad Beans, and Garlic Chips, all mixed with seasoning....

followed by the 'Singapore Street Noodles' $12 Thin Rice Noodle, Onion, Carrot, Napa Cabbage, Bean Sprouts, stir fried in Curry Masala, Ginger, Garlic and Soy Sauce. Next time, I'll just have the Salad as my entree...

My last Japanese Golden Chop with Lemon & Capers and Roasted Asparagus for dinner...
A big piece of Vegan Treats Tiramisu Cake for dessert...

I took 55 pics in the barn this afternoon, but only one turned out.  You're welcome, Ingrid...

There will be nothing new under the sun here tomorrow.

Saturday, February 22nd

Back to Harrimans for breakfast this morning. The 'Tofu Scramble' $12 Vine Ripened Tomatoes, Green Onions, Tempeh Bacon (Sausage?) and Roasted Potatoes with a Roasted Tomato were fantastic as always. How can the food be so good, yet the service so bad?

An Oven Roasted Tofurky Sandwich for Dinner. They're not readily visible, but I had so many Olives in my Salad, I didn't want anymore with my Sandwich...
An Eli's Celebrate Bar for dessert...
Where to tomorrow? No idea.

Field Roast Frankfurters and TJ's Tots (I really don't eat Tots with a fork) for dinner...

Bob's Red Mill Quick Cooking Oats with lots of Raisins for breakfast...
Common Market Eggless Egg Salad (on leftover LPQ bread) for lunch..
Homemade Chili for dinner...
2 Tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil 
1 Large Yellow Onion, chopped 
1 Green Pepper, chopped
1 Jalapeno chopped 
4 Garlic Cloves, minced 
4 1/2 Teaspoons Chili Powder 
2 Teaspoons Ground Cumin 
1 Tube of Gimme Lean Beef 
1 Can (15.5 ounces) Kidney Beans, rinsed and drained 
1 Can (15.5 ounces) Pinto Beans, rinsed and drained 
1 Can (28 ounces) Diced Tomatoes 
Chocolate Cake with Ganache for dessert...
Instead of saying 'Off I go', I'll just say 'Good Night', because I'm not going anywhere for at least two more days.
